Well I have plenty to do to keep me busy, that's for sure.  It didn't take me long to get back up on the horse.  I have a feeling my family won't put up with it for long, so I am going to capitalize on my wife's goodwill, generated from her happiness to have this new computer, and enjoy myself while I can.  Are we going to play our Worgen tonight?

My Worgen is named Bonezz on Earthen Ring. That server might be locked for new players right now, I know they're offering free moves off due to the queues.

Well, I played my mage a bit more last night in Hyjal.  I first bought a couple new pieces of fairly cheap gear from the auction house to boost up my AC mainly.  Seemed to help.  I'm not getting my little gnome butt kicked as much now, especially if adds get on me.  So things went a bit smoother.  I should be 85 by spring.  ;)

I'm just finishing up Uldum, a very cool area themed around ancient Egypt, with a new race of half tiger half human characters populating the area west of Tanaris.  [spoiler]There's a huge, long questline there that involves Harrison Jones, and is of course very reminiscent of the Raiders of the Lost Ark storyline, delving into ancient pyramids, solving puzzles, and ultimately unearthing something very much like the lost Ark of the Covenant.  Very cool.[/spoiler] My mage is a little more than halfway through 84.  I want to start doing some of the five man instances on normal before I ding 85 and I'm expected to jump into the heroic versions, so when I finish up the quests in Uldum I think I'm going to hold off on heading into the last new area, Twilight Highlands.

My guy is almost 83. I think I m going to switch from a Warrior Tank to Warrior DPS. The Tank is being such a pain in the butt to play in Cataclysm. Any thoughts on this"?

I never played as a tank, or any kind of melee for that matter.  Every one of my toons is a ranged class:  Mage is my main, and 79 lvl Shadow Priest, 70 lvl Warlock, and 60 lvl Hunter are my primary alts.  I think I'm going to restart my Worgen as a druid and roll a Goblin Rogue, so I can tell you then how I feel about the melee characters then.  I like the idea that the druid can fulfill all three primary roles with talent distribution.

Just a little heads up, one of my friends who plays WOW just recently got his account hacked.  Items gone, gold gone, etc.  The hackers even had been leveling one of his level 80 guys even though the account was only out of his hands for maybe a day.  Blizzard has restored it all now.  So keep an eye on Spyware, viruses, keyloggers, and so forth.  Another good tool to use is something called Process Link 2 that will show you all the Windows processes going (if you are on a Windows machine).  Also, maybe order one of those authenticator keychain things.  Blizzard also suggested he change his Battle.net email to a new email that he only uses for WOW.  Just some suggestions to keep your account secure.

I have linked the authenticator on my iPhone to my battle.net account so I highly recommend ppl getting the keychain one or iPhone/iPod touch one.  Considering how high value WOW accounts are these days, gold sellers are looking for anyway to hack into your account.

Well, Sapphyre, my mage did the big ding a little while ago in Twilight Highlands.  Now the real grind begins...getting my DPS up to where my guild might want to take me on some raids.  Time for some heroics...
