My priest is halfway to 84 now, I just dual specced to Holy and healed my first two instances today. I didn't do too bad, kept the tank alive but had a hard time with other party members if they pulled agro or did something stupid. I like healing I think, it's very different than DPS which is the role I'm so used to. I can't stand waiting for 45 minutes or more to queue for dungeons, though, so I'm shelving the Mage for a while since the healer queues are practically instantaneous.

Heh, the always amusing part of Wow is the sheer lack of healers, even in the rebalanced WoW. Its not an easy job for sure...and yes, you'll always have trouble with "stupid" DPSers. But the upside is there is very little wait for instances. Had that issue a lot as a Holy Paladin...*shudders*.

My main in Everquest was a cleric, but I haven't played a healer in WOW yet. Maybe I'll start one after I get my mage to 85 in another few months. ;)

My priest dinged 85 a few days ago and I've healed about three level 85 instances with much success. I like healing to an extent but it is way more stressful than DPS. It's like the whole world rests on your shoulders. I'm glad the priest has a viable DPS option in the Shadow specialization, if I decide to forego healing in the future. In the meantime, I have a lot of gearing up to do before I can get into heroics and really test myself. I need to replace probably seven or eight gear slots before I can even start to heal heroics.

I've also been starting to really enjoy my Goblin Warrior named Thingamagig. He just hit level 20 and got his Goblin Trike. So much fun. I caved and renewed my subscription for another month. Taking it day by day.

If you think healing in regular instances is hard wait for Heroics. It completly is a different beast!

Ran across this quest while I was levelling my undead rogue. You play a quest giver and random NPCs come by to get quests form you. Hilarious.

Well I took my Holy Priest into her first raid last night. We tried one of the first bosses in Blackwing Descent - Magmaw, on ten man difficulty. Supposedly it's one of the easier encounters, but that wasn't my experience. We were owned, it was a disaster. We're trying again tonight though, hopefully it goes better.

Yep, easier than the rest by far. It tooks us about 10 times though to get it down though. Now that we do , we can farm him :) One mistake and poof!
