It's starting to snow up at my place... it's very cool

That's a rarity in your part of the world isn't it?

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I had a slight dusting of snow just above Sacramento yesterday morning 1-1-11. It turned to rain and was gone by noon. Still raining today.

We had some snow here a few weeks back.  This is what it looked like outside my house that Saturday night:
Blizzard 12/11/2010

The next morning after I'd cleard the sidewalk:
Galesville, Wisconsin Blizzard 12 December 2010

And in my final triumph over the snow, getting my truck out of it:
1998 Dodge Vs Snow

Area wide we had measurements of 18.5 to 26 inches via the National Weather Service.
Reavers!

Now - that's real snow!  Nice!  :)

We don't normally get anything like the snow we've had in the last two years either. Everyone moans about how it shut the country down but the truth is it doesn't normally fall like that an we're simply not set up to manage it.

Despite the fact the country's overdrawn, someone will need to buy a few more ploughs in the next few years if this is going to carry on.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
