I know, I had been working dilligently on it until Children's Week absolutely screwed me (not the past one but the one before last year).  It was the PvP Battleground portions I just couldn't complete, no matter how hard I tried.  I got so frustrated it was one of the many reasons I quit the game when I did.  But I have all the titles/achievements I need to the meta except for Children's Week and Brewfest.  It's going to be a long wait unitl those events come around again but hopefully by then I'll have a good guild that will help me get them done.

I should really quit reading this thread...its only making the itch worse to return. 

@Joby Yeah, PVP is a monster in that game.  To this day, I don't know why I liked it so much. And liked to hate it.  Twas the most fun I ever had and the most non-fun I had.  So I can understand that making you quit.

Well it just infuriated me because I had done so much to get so far with that achievement, including that horrible random Valentine's Day achievement to get those ten heart shaped candies...I was setting my alarm to remind me to log in every hour near the end of that week before I finally got the ones I needed.  Then to fail with the PvP part, just because I suck basically, well it was too disheartening to continue :lol:

As an update to the Azeroth flight issue it does seem now to have changed and the only thing that's at the flight master now is master flying for 4k gold. Weird though, I swear I saw it. I think i might have confused the ability in my spell book (which says see your trainer) with the flight master ability on sale at the vendor, that's probably what happened when I thought i saw it at 4k. Everything I'm reading on beta forums says the cost is 250g which is much more reasonable.  Sorry for the confusion

I opened a ticket with Blizz to get my professions reset to where they were before I got hacked.  After about an hour I was contacted by a GM in game, who took control of my character and after a little while, I am now 450 Herbalism 449 Inscription again!  I am not sure if I should have just kept the mining prof that those hackers got for me, since I really need gold, but I did so much work getting Inscription up there I felt like I should keep it, especially for the expansion.

And I dinged 78 with my Priest!  (not the one in Papa Palpatines heh)

Once the expansion hits do you guys think we should get together and create some Worgen to check out the new content as a group, or are you all immediately starting to level your mains?  I'd really like to play with some of my TrekSF buds, as well as check out the new voice chat options in the game.

I think that'd be cool if we can coordinate a time. I know Rico and I are already using Earthen Ring on our main servers as it is.

I'm game to try something sometime.  But keep in mind I play very light and casual.  I'm probably most interested in creating a Worgen and leveling them to see some of the new areas, etc.  But I may alternate with leveling Reico to 85.  Joby - you sound like you are definitely back in the game full force!

Right it'd be cool some weeknight or a Saturday afternoon if 3 or 4 of us could get on and run the worgen starting zones together.

The only problem with Earthen Ring is that it is so heavily populated, the Worgen/Goblin starting zones are going to be mobbed.  I'm cool with that though.  Let's do it!  and yeah Rico, it doesn't take much to get me hooked on this game again, I love it so much!

If we can get a kind of scheduled thing going, whenever is convenient for you all (and my wife and kids *sigh*) I am cool with leaving my Worgen alone unless we are playing together, and then working on my main and other alts at other times.  That way we wont outlevel each other.

I think even a week or two into the expansion the starting areas will be ok.  It's just those first few days that it will be nuts.  I like the idea of Saturdays, if you guys have anytime then.  That's about the easiest day for me.

Yup Saturday is probably the most ideal for me as well. Frankly the only way I'd run Alliance is with a group. I just can't be without my AIE!
