I only have a few plants. I keep selling them. I like the little snail. The music is very soothing! I keep wondering if a zombie is going to crash the place.

Any idea if they're making a sequel?

They are indeed, in fact now that Popcap (the makers of PvZ) are wholly owned by video game juggernaut Electronic Arts, (in one of the biggest buyouts of video game history) I would imagine that a sequel will be hitting our computers, consoles, phones, tablets, and hell probably places we havent even thought of, before we have time to sing "There's a zombie on my lawn."

And on Origin only too!  -_-...

I am getting a little tired of EA owning everyone these days, or at least it feels like they do.

I'm currently replaying a few games on my SNES, as my 360 is in Germany, being repaired.

That's cool, I just downloaded a N64 emulator for my iMac that so far seems to run pretty great, though Zelda Ocarina of Time crashes on startup.  The other few games I've tried run well, and it's fun playing them with an Xbox 360 controller.  What games are you playing on the SNES?

Just got finished a four hour session with Dead Island on my PS3. What an awesome game, I had to force myself to stop and go to bed.  It's kind of a combination of World of Warcraft and Left for Dead, a first person perspective role playing game that has you leveling up powers, abilities and weapons as you complete quests and try to escape a zombie infested resort island in the South Pacific.  Really fun, addictive combat is the highlight, with beautiful environments and really scary, realistic enemies.  I can't wait to play some more.

Right now I'm playing Deus Ex:Human Revolution on the XBox...it's pretty good so far, finally got to where I can do some side missions. The best part is I can still throw bodies around like in the old XBox one.

I got that game and set it aside...I played the first hour or so and it didn't hook me yet.  I kind of regret the purchase, but I'm sure I will eventually sit down with it, since I really enjoyed the original game on my Sega Dreamcast.  I think I need to stop listening to video game podcasts...they get me all caught up in artificial hype and excitement, when I really can't afford to be buying all these $60 new releases.  Especially because I have a pretty big pile of unfinished games from the last three years to work on.

Joby - just wait a couple months for the prices to come down.  And/or at least get Windows on that Apple machine and buy the PC versions.  Not only better visually than console versions - they are cheaper too!

Steam is also a good resource for getting games cheap.  Just requires time and patience :).  but since you have so many games, I think you have time on your side :P

I've tried gaming on the iMac and it's been an experience...I think I might be a "Console 4 Life" kind of guy:  I just can't get the hang of Mouse/Keyboard configurations for games.  I know some offer gamepad support but alot don't...Oblivion and Dragon Age 2 for example.  It's also why I pretty much sucked at raiding in WoW.  I just can't get used to the mouse/KB.  I think part of it is being left handed as well as years of playing with sticks and pads.

Yes, I just need to exercise some self control, not the easiest thing for me unfortunately.  There's not alot for Mac on Steam but the selection is growing day by day.

Can't get used to a mouse and keyboard?!?!  I'm left handed too and I can't get used to a gamepad!  LOL!  Anyway, I just like the flexibility of a PC a lot more than a console.
