Ok Gang, so I'm thinking of doing a "special unscheduled" episode of Tales From The Mouse House. Now, if you're not familiar, the Disneyland Resort plays all sorts of music throughout the place, kind of like a soundtrack. This music is played on the rides, piped in through the streets, etc. I (of course) have a CD full of this music and was thinking of recording an episode of mainly just the music. Do some intro stuff, like the name of the song, what ride or area it's played in, etc. What do you all think? Something you'd be interested in hearing? Of course, this will be a "bonus" episode, won't take the place of our regular audio episode...Al

Only thing I'd worry about when it comes to replaying full songs is copyright. Not sure how crazy Disney is about that stuff.

Hmm, interesting question billybob. I'd have thought under fair use it would be ok.  I'll need to check into this a bit more. Since I'm not p2p sharing, or selling my podcast, is this a violation?

Not sure but it would be replaying it for public consumption so not sure. I know there were changes to fair use recently. I mean it's probably nothing to worry about but I thought I'd bring it up.

Yeah, I'm thinking as long as I don't charge, they won't really bother with me, but I can understand billybob's concern. I think I'll most likely just do it...

I know CBS has never come down on Rico for any Trek stuff nor has Lucasfilm come down on any of the Star Wars podcasters I know.
