Like you I loved Fred Astaire - especially his appearance on the Rankin & Bass 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'.  I think he did one more move after this BSG appearance - he was in a ghost story of sorts with none other than John Houseman!  Now that was really great.
you're talking about the movie Ghost Story based on the Peter Straub book?  He was great in that, and none other than the Borg Queen Alice Krige played the titular ghost. Fantastic film.
Yes that is the one!  Great movie.

We do see them in one more episode, the one where Baltar escapes.  Thank so much for listening!!!

Ok cool, I may remember seeing them in that one but its been so long.  I will wait for the podcast for that one.
I am going with the best information that I have.

Hi Rick and Chris, I just listen to the podcast yesterday.  Great podcast, I'm glad that you got Jen to co-host.  I still remember seeing that ep on TV back in the day.  I always thought it was good ep of the series.  the who dunits were always popular around the same period.  I do want to also point out that there was homage to the ep in the new BSG.  One ep has Adama allowing the colonial President to barrow one of his Dectivite novels.  the title was Murder on the Rising Star.  When I heard him say that, I almost fell out of my chair.

Looking forward to this one - will listen on Wednesday.  I recall seeing this episode on TV (B&W) back in the day.

Enjoyed the cast immensely - as usual.  Jen was a great co-host, and I was digging the Land of The Lost theme song.  'Enik' is the name of the uber-sleestak...

It's a shame that the show will come to a natural end. I really hope the Galactica 1980 episode you're considering covering is The Return Of Starbuck. Love that one.

ChrisMC

I am pretty sure that will be the one, it's the one episode that I actually enjoyed. As I said in the podcast, I want to find a way to do some more shows after we end the season. It's just gotten more and more fun.

How about covering Space:1999 episodes - or sticking to campy Scifi shows.  :)  I would love to help out on those.

Yeah, that's something. Maybe reconfigure to cover older cheesy sci-fi shows. That could work.

Buck Rogers, Space: 1999, UFO, Star Maidens, Logan's Run (TV), and Irwin Allen had a host of shows - land of the giants, time tunnel.  I won't even mention Ultra Man or Johnny Socko - the japanese TV shows.

Liked this one and I've now caught up on the rewatch too.

Jen worked well although I don't know what mood you other two guys were in! ;)

Next come a few of my favourites since, if I'm not mistaken, we're reaching the point where the Eastern Alliance come into play aren't we? I remember them as featuring in a whole run of episodes but I'ts probably only one or two.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
