I read this morning over on the BSG wiki about this episode and the missing scene featuring the dead demon body found in the wreckage. I never knew about that, I had always assumed the ship was the Pegasus and the body they didn't want Sheba to see was her Dad! I figured Count Iblis tried to scam them and Cain and crew fought back and they crashed the ship in the ensuing battle. I kind of like my version better. :)

That does make more sense.  Why else would they not want Sheeba - a veteran pilot & soldier - to see what is in the wreckage?  Surely she has seen bodies before.

Hey Rick and Chris, I just listen to the podcast the other night.  Pt2 really rocked.  The best podcast so far if not one of the best ep.  I never knew what Count Iibi meant.  When I first saw the scene in which he changes into a demon, I thought that was scary as all get out lol. I had always thought what was in the wreakage but I never thought it was Cain or the pegues crew. Why would it be them?  Oh yes the balls of light reminded me of the foo fighters that WW2 pilots encountered.
I am going with the best information that I have.

I just listen to ep 18 last night.  great podcast, I still rembrer watching this one for the first time.  it is good episode.  I don't think that we ever see those Klingon's I mean again or what ever they were called with there door knob grenades lol.  I believe that was the only ep that we see them.  I think it would have been neat if they remade that ep in the new series and had Dirk Benedict play the father.

Like you I loved Fred Astaire - especially his appearance on the Rankin & Bass 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'.  I think he did one more move after this BSG appearance - he was in a ghost story of sorts with none other than John Houseman!  Now that was really great.

you're talking about the movie Ghost Story based on the Peter Straub book?  He was great in that, and none other than the Borg Queen Alice Krige played the titular ghost. Fantastic film.
