The white Horse Pike collapsed..... :(  most of my home state's southern barrier islands are under water, my cousins tell me its real bad. And high tide is going to be around when Sandy comes ashore.

Praying for all you yankees up there in the north. Be careful, stay safe. :/ We're thinking of you.

Looks like the boardwalk in Atlantic City got wiped out.

I am not seeing or hearing that on the news, Pete. Lot's of BAD info online, lot's of rumors, little facts.

Rico

I heard the whole east coast is now underwater and has become part of Atlantis.  Detroit is the capitol!  ;)

:roflmao My Dad and family are in southern CT and bearing the brunt as well as many clients who I called today who live in CT, NY, and NJ. The one I am worried the most about is my client in Long Island, she had water on her street very early today.

I was watching a live stream from Washington DC and apparently part of the Boardwalk did take some damage but not all of it. So far anyway.

Seen some photos of flooding in the lower east side of NYC. Heck, 3500 people a few major intersections over from me here in Toronto are without power. There's some pretty wicked wind outside my window. Nothing compared to what they're getting further south though.

take care everybody, I hope all those affected make it through unscathed
If you can remain calm when all around you are panicking, you probably didn't understand the question

We are without power in my area - the northern suburbs of Philadelphia.  Lots of damage to trees, and some siding & gutters blown off in my neighborhood.  Thankfully, life & limb & shelter ok for all.
I made it into the office (which is closed to non-essentials).

We have a report of one confirmed death in Toronto, a woman was hit by a dislodged Staples sign carried by the high winds.

Rico

Hope everyone is doing ok and things are slowly easing up now.  Looks like some people are trying to enjoy the storm...

I hope all members living in Sandy's path are safe, including all family members.  :)

Did anyone see Nana Visitor on  the news today talking about her experiences during the storm?

It's the first time we've had NY weather on the news over here like that. Radio and TV.

The Boeing guys we deal with in Philadelphia just stayed at home on Monday. I think they're on the river?

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
