I think I'm enjoying Aquaman and the Justice League the best of the new 52.  I still read Batman and Supergirl too.  Oh, Catwoman is pretty cool too.

Picked up 2 issues on Wed. I know I said it before but I'll say it again the Green Lantern Corps storyline has been really good. Issue 6 ended the current storyline. Supergirl has also been pretty good. I give both Supergirl #6 and GLC #6 an 8. Here is a pic of the issues.

This weeks New 52 I picked up was the Superman and Firestorm #6. I haven't read Superman yet but i did read Firestorm. And I have decided to drop Firestorm from my pull list because it just isn't that good overall and also they use the Lord's name in vain way to much. I just don't like that. I can put up with the curse words over them doing that. Yes it's going to pop up in other comics and books I read but to me the Firestorm just over does it. So i'm dropping it.
Firestorm #6 - 5.
When I find out for sure I will let you know the titles that are being dropped in the New 52 and the titles that they are adding.

I did drop the Firestorm series. I may pick up the Avengers Assemble series thats coming out which has the characters from the movie in it as the core group. The latest issue I picked up is Justice League. And check out this cover to see who came for a visit!

Here are the ones I picked up on Friday. The Green Arrow has a different team doing the writting and art. So we will see how that ends up. I don't always like it when they change like that.

If you have watched this episode of this funny web series, you should.  All about DC's new 52.  Great stuff!

Funny!!! And no Superman shouldn't be wearing jeans! Saying that though, Action Comics has been a good series so far.

Rico

I have mixed feelings overall on the new 52 stuff.  Some stuff I like, some things I don't.  I'm glad they didn't seem to mess with Batman too much as he probably is my favorite DC character.

WillEagle

I believe the Batman and Green Lantern series seem to have stayed pretty close to what came before. No huge changes for those titles.

WillEagle

Here are two books I picked up Wed. Justice League #7 and Green Lantern Corps #7.

WillEagle

I read the Green Lantern Corps and again really enjoyed it. It's seems to be starting a story arc based on something that John Stewart had to do in a earlier issue. It was very well done with a story which really isn't action packed. Peter J. Tomasi is a great writer. Also got caught up on the Action comics and Green Lantern title. It was easy to do when there is tornado sirens going off and we went to the basement. I grabbed my shoes, a Bible, and a bag of comics with my newer ones in it. Here's my ratings.
Green Lantern #7 - 10.
Green Arrow #6 - 8.
Green Arrow #7 - 8.
Action Comics #6 - 7.
Action Comics #7 - 9.
Action Comics is being written by Grant Morrison and overall has been a good series. It's one worth checking out.
In Action #7 Superman gets his current costume.
The 2 newest titles I picked up were Supergirl #7 and Superman #7. The Supergirl issue ends a major battle for her. The Superman #7 starts with a new creative team of Dan Jurgens (pencil art and co-plotted), Keith Giffen (scripted and co-plotted), Jesus Merino (finished art).
The Green Arrow started with a new creative team also. The Arrow series does have a different art style but it wasnt to different. Still need to read the Superman.
Check out the covers on these 'SUPER' titles.

Starting off April with 3 new books from the New 52. Action Comics, Justice League International, and Green Arrow. It looks like Superman is out of the blue jeans and into his new costume. If you read Action #7 it shows how he got his costume. Is costume a good word to use for what a superhero wears? Here is a pic of the issues.

I did get the chance to read JLI and Green Lantern #8.
JLI #8 - 8 This one include a guest spot from Batwing.
Green Arrow #8 - 7. Let's see if I can stay with the new creative team.
Picked up 3 more of the New 52. Here are the titles and my ratings.
Justice League #8 - Guest starring Green Arrow. Haven't read this.
Green Lantern Corps #8 - 10!! This one was really good and I really enjoyed the artwork in this issue. Most of it took place on Oa. Very good series. Worth checking it out. Wether your a Green Lantern fan or not.
Supergirl #8 - 8. Introducing the Silver Banshee and this issue had a great lead up to her appearance.
Check out these issues.

#73
Here is the only issue of the New 52 I got this week. It's Superman #8. Issue #7 started a new storyline and with a new creative team. I really liked it so I'm looking foward to reading this new issue. Here is my rating for some of the books I finally got to read followed by a pic of Superman #8.
Superman #7 - 9.
Justice League #6 - 8. Finishing off the 1st storyline. Very cool 2 page spread of Superman flying into Darkseid right in the stomach! And if you have been wondering about that purple cloaked figure in some of the #1 issues she is revealed in a short story at the end of this issue! They also reveal her name.
Pandora
Justice League #7 - 8.
And in an earlier post I mentioned the costumes the superheroes wear. Well in the Justice League #6 comic they were at the Capitol building getting some recognition for taking out Darkseid. The Prez says they "donned their colorful costumes and went into action."  Green Lantern says, "Costumes? I don't wear a costume. This is my uniform." And Aquaman man says "this is Atlantean scale mail." So I would have to say thanks to Green Lantern (and Geoff Johns) I now know they wear uniforms unless your from Atlantis. And yes I probably do have too much time on my hands.  :)

I picked up 3 new ones this week and I did have the chance toread 2 of them. The Supergirl cover is kinda boring but I really like the Green Lantern Corps cover. Very cool and well done by Fernando Pasarin, Scott Hanna & Gabe Eltaeb.
Justice League #9. Haven't read yet.
Supergirl #9 - 7. An ok story continued from last issue. I'll have to say I liked Silver Banshee BEFORE she changed into Silver Banshee.
Green Lantern Corps #9 - 9. Very good ending of this book making you NOT wanting to wait a whole month for the next one. I know thats the idea but it was just the way this one ended that makes me wanting to see what happens a lot quicker than 30 days. Here is a pic of the 3 issues.
