The Lois and Supes relationship is being nixed, from what I understand. Sorta like how Peter Parker and MJ were never married now.

Yeah, when the new 52 started Lois & Clark were no longer married.  The Pete & MJ thing was done differently.  They basically made a "deal with the devil."  I've not liked Spidey nearly as much since that event happened.

Teah, in the New 52, Lois and Clark never had a thing. Part of it is to actually be different, the other part probably has to do with the rights of Lois. Dc is going out of their way to make this new Superman less like the original and avoid all of the copyright issues that go with it.

Yeah, to save Aunt May for the 100th time, they made a deal with Mephisto. I'm sure that would make May happy. I'm pretty sure that came down to Quesada never liking the idea that Peter was married. One of the reasons I've been a Marvel fan for decades is that many of the characters progressed in their lives and changed...and it was cool that Spidey was a teacher and husband. Oh, well.

Yeah, I know here have been all those troubles with the Siegels and Shusters. I wonder how it will affect the film? What do you think of how the Super suit fits into the new continuity. I am at the same time not happy history-wise, but also acknowledge that it's a sci-fi convention to make it clear that Superman IS an alien from an advanced civilization.

Picked these up last week at the comic shop. Two of these are Annuals and both look very good. Also interested in seeing why Superman and Wonder Woman are locking lips! Could be an interesting storyline for the Justice League series.
I also took my nephew with me because he wanted to look for some World of Warcraft comics. They didn't have any so he bought a game. I did buy him a Deadpool comic. Check out these cool covers.

Just finished reading the Green Lantern - Vol.1 - Sinestro. It collected the first 6 issues of the New 52 series. Very good book with a nice cliffhanger at the end but it will be awhile before I'm reading the 2nd volume.
Green Lantern Vol.1 - Sinestro - 9.

Clark and Lois is just so much more of an iconic relationship than Peter and MJ though.  If it's really about the copyright issues, I have to believe that the legal wranglings between DC and the family of the character's creators will eventually settle with a big cash payout and there will be some kind of DC event bringing Lois and Clark back together.

I agree that the Spiderman books have been just terrible since the "reboot" of Brand New Day.  I keep checking in periodically but they just stink.  "Back in Black" was the absolute peak of the title, where Spiderman breaks into prison and comes within a hairs breadth of murdering the Kingpin for what he did to May.  Then One More Day was just absurd and everything since has been so dumbed down that I can't bear to read the title.  I get it that they're mainly for kids and teens but there's something about the title now I just can['t relate to anymore.  Have I reached "that certain age?"

Here are some pics of the '0' issues of the series I collect from the New 52. They include Action, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Green Lantern Corps & Justice League. And on a sidenote Justice League International has been canceled. They also canceled the Voodoo series. I did read some of the '0' issues but I am behind on Action and the Justice League series. Here are my ratings for the issues I did read.
Green Arrow #0 - 8
Green Lantern Corps #0 - 9. Good story centering on Guy Gardner when he first joined the Corps.
Supergirl #0 - 8. A story on how she got to Earth.

Over the last few days I have picked up 3 graphic novels from the new 52 from my libarary.  I got Hawk & Dove, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. I'm looking foward to the Aquaman the most. I don't care to much for the art style in the Wonder Woman book but I hope its still a good story.
So far I have read Batman: The Court of Owls, Catwoman: The Game, Green Lantern: Sinestro and Batman and Robin: Born to Kill.
I have on my hold Q at the library Batgirl: The Darkest Reflection, Superboy: Incubation, Birds of Prey: Trouble in Mind, Batman The Dark Knight: Knight Terrors, Green Lantern New Guardians: The Ring, Teen Titans: It's Our Right to Fight and Nightwing: Traps and Trapezes.
I'm still reading the series of Action, Superman, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Green Lantern Corps and Justice League. So I don't need those in Graphic novel form. They canceled Justice League International which I thought was a pretty good series.
Some other I would like to check out are Stormwatch: The Dark Side, All-Star Western: Guns and Gotham, Men of War: Uneasy Company, and coming in November Blackhawks: The Great Leap Foward, Captain Atom: Evolution and The Flash: Move Foward. I think that will cover me pretty good on the New 52.

I'd like to see a pic of your whole collection, it must be enormous if you don't sell things back

I borrow the graphic novels from the library so I don't have any of the new 52 in graphic novel form. I still do enjoy the series I get every month. I do have a pretty decent collection of comics and magazines but I wouldn't call it enormous. I do have boxes full of them but if it started to stack up too high the wife might do this...   :old_bash:

Here are issue #13's from October of the New 52 titles I picked up. I did miss getting The Green Lantern Corps so hopefully the comic shop guy ordered me one.
Here are my rating for the titles I have read.
Green Arrow - 6. I hope this series gets better now that the new show is out. They are going to release an Arrow comic coming out Nov. 28.
Justice League - 10. Very good 1st part to a story featuring Cheetah.
Superman - 9. Leading up to a story featured in all the 'Super' books.
Supergirl - 8. She finds her 'Fortress of Solitude' at the bottom of the ocean called 'Sanctuary'.
Action I didn't read yet. I'm about 4 bboks behind on this series.
Here's a pic of the latest issues.

I have currently read 2 more of the New 52 graphic novels. I enjoyed both of them.
Batgirl - Vol. 1 The Darkest Reflection - 8. Enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
Batman: The Dark Knight - Vol. 1 Knight Terrors - 9. Probably my favorite of the Batman books I've read of the new 52 titles.
The Batman family of books seem to follow the storylines from before where other titles of the New 52 did start over.
As I said before I'm behind on the Action Comic series but I still wanted to post a pic. I think its a pretty cool cover.

Here are the 2 New 52's I got last week. Green Arrow and Action #14. I did read the Arrow but not the Action.
Green Arrow #14 - 7. Still a good series but I think this could be better. I'm going to stick with it for now but I have been thinking of maybe dropping this title. This issue was part of a bigger story from the Savage Hawkman book and I don't like when they do that because you miss some of the story unless you buy the other books. I know why they do that but I wish they wouldn't.

Here is my latest batch of The New 52. Superman, Supergirl, Green Lantern Corps and Justice League. I and miising #13 of GLC still waiting on the comic shop to get more in. Did read a couple of them though.
Supergirl - 9. This started a crossover story with Superman and Superboy. It was a good start.
Superman - 9. Contining the battle with H'el.
Here is a list of some New 52 Vol. 2 graphic novels coming out in Jan.
Green Lantern Vol. 2 - Revenge of the Black Hand.
Justice League International Vol. 2 - Breakdown. This series has ended.
Wonder Woman Vol. 2 - Guts. Didn't enjoy Vol. 1 very much so I may skip this one.
Batwoman Vol. 2 - To Drown the World. Never got into this series.
Green Arrow Vol. 2 - Triple Threat.
Blue Beattle Vol. 2 - Blue Diamond. Never got into this either.
Justice League Vol. 2 - The Villain's Journey. If you don't read the single issues of this series this is worth a look.

#104
Here is part of New 52 books I get every month. Green Lantern Corps, Action & Green Arrow #15. I'm still missing Green Lantern Corps #13 and the comic shop guy said he should have one for me in 2 weeks since there isn't much being released the day after Christmas. I haven't read any of these yet because I got behind from work and getting things ready for Christmas. I did read an Action one which is a series I'm behind on a few issues. Except for Green Lantern Corps, because I'm missing issue #13, I have been keeping up with most of the series I buy.
Action #12 - 8.
Justice League #14 - 10. A very good issue!! Great story mostly featuring Superman and Wonder Woman and Superman trying to show Wonder Woman why he helps people by taking her to Smallville. And they go as Superman and Wonder Woman! Very cool. There was also a part in the story that I didn't know where it started and come to find out it started in Action #12 which I read after JL #14! Let's just say Batman is one sneeky dude.
Here is a pic of some issue 15's.
