Listening now, loving it. I said it on twitter and I'll say it here, the Zoids audio is incredibly hilarious!

ZOIDZILLA'S MASSIVE STRENGTH!!!

I know, :) I thought it was awesome as a kid. The narrator sounds so familiar but I can't find any info on him.

Glad you're enjoying it! :)

Meds

Looking forward to listening to this one. :D

This is a topic I knew absolutely zero about so it's had some educational value :)

Never seen, heard or played with any of these things so it was all completely new. It's interesting the see the almost circular relationship between TV and toy companies played out so well.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Meds

Great podcast Dan, brilliant comments and you brought the memories flooding back. Great show.

New show out! A Geeky chat with Tim 'KingIsaacLinksr" Wetzel - "How Do You Consume Your Media?"

This time on the show I'm joined by Timothy Wetzel (KingIsaacLinksr) and we have fantastic  geeky chat about today's entertainment world and the technology we use to consume and enhance it. Among other things we discuss:

Netflix Red Box, LoveFilm, Hulu, BBC iPlayer, TVCatchup, Vudu, Amazon and iTunes.

Devices, apps and multimedia software such as XBMC, Windows Media Center, Boxee, Apple TV and AirPlay.

Methods of watching and listening to your content such as Home Theatre PCs, dedicated devices and mobile devices.

Advertising and TV content, its relevance and how to avoid it.

3D movies

Music and podcasts and how to aggregate and consume them of various platforms including ditching iTunes using the Pocket Casts mobile app for iOS and Android, listing some of our favourite podcasts in the process.

Of course. I like to credit my sources. ;)

Feathers

Really good chat. Having heard the first half this morning, I enjoyed listening to the back half  while I wrote up a days investigations this afternoon.

I'd love to see some better streaming service over here but I'm slowly realising I'm probably not set up to handle it.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Dangelus

Thanks Mike.

I have high hopes for Netflix. They already have 2 exclusive deals in place so it seems they are trying really hard to give us a good experience.

Great cast Dan you and Tim could have talked a lot longer I think.
But it was very interesting and entertaining, I did not even notice the time zip by until you mentioned it at the end.
When you redo your promo send me a copy and I will put it in mine

Cheers mate, will do. We did have another segment but we decided to call it a day as it was 1am over here and we'd been going for over 2 hours.

We may have to do another show at some point if there is demand. ;)

stonut

Well as one of the four mentioned listeners, I'm sure you have way more, I think you and Tim should have a Xmas pressie geek out. Just think of the tech that would cover!
