I was thinking this would be something to do with 'Battleship Yamamoto' - or 'Starblazers' as it was known here. Any ever see that great old Anime show?

You bet, they even have filmed a live action version in Japan a few year back.

Oh yeah!!! I LOVED Starblazers. I used to watch it every day when I was a kid. Awesome show.

I love Star Blazers! The SyFy Channel was showing it at 2 am Friday, until they took it off the air a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't mind seeing the new movie.

Hmm. Got a weird feeling about this...looks like it might cross the line from good-bad to bad-bad, but who can tell from a teaser trailer. I'm sure I'll see it anyway, but I'd rather watch that live action Yamato that I saw the trailer for a while ago.
