It doesn't cost that much here.  About $100 when I got mine and I've used it for many years now.  I am tempted by the TREK SF one.  I am having too much fun with the plate tester thing though.  Hehe!   :metallica:

Ha. Over here we're stuck with the age/date format so for my new car the plates must be of the form:

XX 59 XXX

which tends to limit things a bit. (Actually, I can use a numeric that makes the car look older so I guess it's a little more free but it does need to be a 2 digit number, 51 - 59 or 02 - 09.)

Alternatively, you can go for the older style plate but you're still constrained to a:

X NNN XXX

format wher the Ns need to be numbers.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Hmmm, it's a bit of a struggle but you could do " 1 NCC 170" :)

I think people might "get" mine more...and that's not saying much. :)
