Finally got "I shall wear Midnight" by Terry Pratchett.

I'm excited to hear what you thought!  I powered through that one.  I like the Tiffany series a lot, but I think I prefer the first set of witches books, to tell you the truth.  Nothing beats Granny setting a voodoo doll on fire by sticking her arm into a torch lamp.  Brilliant.

I thought it was the best of the Tiffany books but still toned down some of the joy of the 'normal' witches stories. Having said that, as the character has grown up, so these stories have grown up too which means we're getting as close to the 'mature witch' stories as we've ever been but still keeping the 'Young Adult' tone (if that's what it is).

Slightly ironically, I had a hard time getting used to the witches when the first of their stories came out (I was more a fan of the night watch characters) but they grew on me over time (only Granny can cripple a Full Onion with quite that level of satisfaction in her voice). I'm not sure what I'd have made of these if they'd come along earlier.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

About half way through Ultimate Spiderman Clone Saga graphic novel. It's been very good so far. I am going to get the Disassembled Series from the library today. Which includes The Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Fantastic Four & Spiderman. I couldn't find the Thor one. I believe these are the stories before "The New Avengers" storyline.

Finished Spiderman "The Clone Saga" which was very good. Also read Wonder Woman "Ends of the Earth". Only 2 more WW graphic novels left to go. One I have here the other I'll have to find. Started Spiderman Disassembled. I also found on Wikipedia a list of Crossover issues for the Avengers Disassembled so I'll be able to read them in order. I would not have done that if I hadn't found that list. Some of the stories are epilogue or aftermaths of the main story (Avengers Disassembled). Looking foward to reading it ALL!!

Finished Spiderman Disassembled. Very good story but I didn't care for the art style in the last two parts. Totally different style from the beginning. Read some Justice League America from 1993. Its a 4 parter called "Destiny's Hand". I was bag and boarding some of my comics today and that just looked like a good story. It has been.

Still going through the Disassembled series. Finished Avengers and Captain America Disassembled. Need to finish Iron Man and Fantastic Four. Did read 'The Atom Countdown Special.' Originally printed back in the 70's. Enjoyed the story but it left you hanging. The Atom didn't find Jean at the end. I need to go read a regular novel soon. Even thought I have really enjoyed these graphic novels.

I actually just finished Twlight book 1... it's wasn't bad.. I plan on starting up book 2 soon.

Finished Iron Man Disassembled. it wasn't very good. Last one to read is the Fantastic Four Disassembled which is a stand alone story. Also picked up about 20 comics today!!!! We have a new store called the Bargin Box and they HAVE 50 cent comics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to look through alot of boxes to find what you want because there is no order to them. The ones he has in order are $3. I found 12 Trek comics. The TNG 6 issue limited series, 2 from their 80 issue run and best of all 3 Personality Presents The Original Crew & 1 The New Crew. Does anybody else have these???? They are hard to find!! Also got some Justice League America, Justice League Quarterly and One Star Wars The Clone Wars graphic novel. Plus a 4 issue limited series by Marvel & DC called Unlimited Access. And all for 50 cents each!!!!!!! Boy did I have fun!!!

Just finished the Wonder Woman - Rise of the Olympian graphic novel. It was really good!! I have read 6 other Wonder Woman graphic novels and this was probably my favorite. I was able to read them in order of publication, which was nice. This was published in 2009.
One of my favorite parts of it was when Wonder Woman is wreaking havoc on the Secret Society. And Felix Faust is watching all of this on a monitor and he says, "Well, HMM. I'm out. That was funny!
Gail Simone's story is great. Check it out if you can.
Started Fantastic Four Disassembled last night.

I just finished reading Star Wars Millennium Falcon, and I have started Fate of the Jedi: Outcast, I am only a chapter into Outcast, but I can tell I will like it more then Millennium Falcon. I found with the Star Wars books, I like the series based one's moreso then the one off's (Though the one off books tie into the over all expanded universe). Millennium Falcon was enjoyable enough, but a bit let down by the ending, seemed anti climatic. It reminded me a bit when I read Death Star, feels like an event type book, but the story in the end was not really that grand. After going through the Legacy of the Force series, I am hoping the Fate of the Jedi series is as good.

I really liked the Death Star book!! It is one of my favorite Star Wars books. I don't have the Millennium Falcon book yet.

I thought the first half of Death Star was alright, but the second half felt like a retelling of A New Hope, so felt a bit let down with it. Millennium Falcon was alright, and the story for the most part moved pretty well, just the ending left me thinking was that it? Not a bad story, just did not seem like it was worthy of a hard cover release.
