I would like to know how you guys get such nice graphics on your website. I use paint to make my pictures, plan on getting Photoshop soon, but still, I ain't that good. Also HTML is a hsatle to fit so much stuff next to each other. I am confused. Somone help me, iI think I am going to get a new book that explains all html. I used one from 1996 and it is very basic, so...

Photoshop CS2 and Imageready CS2.
I think elements will work fine also. Its goin to take a few years to get the hang of it. I started in 7th grade making sites.

Ya, but how do you use CS2 to it's fullest. Where do you learn full css, css2, and html.

wat do you mean by fullest? Its called picking up a book on CSS at the bookstore. Check out http://csszengarden.com for the ideal css2 site design.

im too late, spock has corruped you!!! flash works just as well and is a bit easier, keep that in mind, lol, spock will disagree with me though. he will say that flash is cheating.

It's just so confusing, why is CSS so much better then HTML, and why is it so damn hard to put a picture and text on the same line WITHOUT MESSING UP EVERYTHING AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg, yeah i know what you mean. thats always difficult on everything. Its hard to do on the web, its hard in microsoft word. computers are just stupid sometimes.

You don't really need a book. http://www.w3schools.com is a good resource... I tought my self by actually looking at the html for websites then trying to emulate it... I wouldn't recommend that unless you like figuring things out for yourself. I may eventually try to get someone to help me make some flash tutorials on basic web design stuff for my site.

I always rely on books. With flash you cannot integrate it will php and mysql. Why waste your time with flash when you can do up a nice banner and have a wicked color scheme. Take a look at http://csszengarden.com and this NOT done with flash.

I know it cant be done with flash. I'm talking flash movies. :P With narration. I'd do a movie in another format, but not everyone can see every format. If they can view websites with a browser they should be able to access a flash player. Theres one for every major platform (Win, Mac, Linux). Also, I'm very familiar with Css Zen Garden. If I had the time I would redo my LCARS template wth xhtml and css. I could do some nice mouseovers using css and make the template look nice. ;)

Spock, I just realised you closed your site, that is a real shame, I always feel sad when something I have become used to for awhile goes away, or is about to go away. Just a sad thing, i guess.
