Usually it's better to save them and upload them here.  Posting images using image links from other sites is generally not a good idea.  They tend to move and change them and then the images vanish.

Looks ok, not sure it's something I would rush out to see, though.

...this coming from a man who thinks TNG, Voyager, AND DS9 are better than TOS. You're one to talk.  :boxing

I have to admit, I was against this film when I heard that they were planning on playing down the 'Real American Hero' angle. Don't get me wrong; I'm not a right-wing nationalist or anything, but the change of focus felt like a pandering slap in the face to what the franchise represented for a lot of American kids of the 80's.

Fortunately, recent articles have stated that the story is actually closer to the old cartoon than those earlier rumors suggested.  With that in mind, I'm actually starting to get a little excited about seeing this movie.

Don't get me started.  :biggrin I love TOS, and I respect it for being the groundbreaking, visionary show that pretty much paved the way for all of the sci-fi shows we enjoy today.  I love all Star Trek, But I'd much rather watch TNG or DS9 than TOS. In my opinion, a lot of TNG & DS9 episodes have better writing and acting than a lot of the TOS episodes.  Better effects, too.  Not that I'm knocking TOS; it's just a result of the different eras in which the shows aired, and the different expectations of their audiences.    ;)

Yeah! Don't get him started!

I will go on the record and say pound for pound. Minute for minute, DS9 is the strongest of the series and the most entertaining.

Yo Joe!

Come on guys.. GI Joe thread... we have plenty of other Star Trek threads...

Bryan I blame you for this. :)

Is Bryan at it again?!  (wagging my finger here).  LOL!  Anyway, the Joe movie looks like fun.  About time they did this.

Well, now that it's clear Star Trek is going to rock, I'm like Triumph the Insult Dog, I need something to poop on! :biggrin
