Jen/Angela -
I listened to your 3rd show today.  Really liked it.  I used to go to Ren Faire's almost every year but haven't in the last couple of years much.  I did go one year to help with the world largest juggling gathering for a world record.  I can juggle pretty well and anyone that could, got in free.  I don't think we ended up with enough for a record though.

I liked the mixed sound better, easier to listen to I thought.  Keep up the great work!  Looking forward to the next show!

Wow! You juggle? I can only juggle two objects at a time. How many can you juggle?

Thanks Rico. Yeah, I've been listening to the Podholes podcast. They critique shows that send them mp3's and give podcasters tips on the technical and recording aspects of podcasts. Lots of good info for beginners and pros. Steve Eley from "Escape Pod" and Mike Mennenga from "Wingin' It" are the gurus. They had a show on bed music (music that lays under your voice)...They said if you have a particularly long podcast bed music helps wake up the listener if they're nodding off and helps to keep them interested if they're not. I thought it added some spice to our stories,  especially the part about the lightsaber duel. I picked the music but Angela put it all together...she's  in charge of where all that stuff gets placed and has been learning a lot about post production.

Mike and Steve's podcast has good info. but its sometimes a little crude (the've named their critiques after a particular tests we women have to endure once a year...not sure what I think of that but hey the podcasting info is good)

Yes, great job at adding the music - definitely spiced things up.

I started juggling in college as stress relief during breaks from studying.  I can do 3, sometimes 4 when I'm on the ball!  I also can do a few different patterns, circle, in and out, etc.  It's a lot of fun, and not as hard as it looks once you get the knack of it.

Do you like that song? Angela's husband wrote it...his band is the group that is playing our theme song and that particular song "Television Junkie". If you want, I can ask him I send it to you. We've been thinking about putting a link up on our new site so people can download it.

Okay I will be getting back on KOTOR soon. I played through chaos bleeds in two days and now feel prepared for that type of gaming. I usually play "god" games like sims and civilization. I will let you know when I need help. Thanks. Angela

Hey Jen I just listened to your show. I really really liked it. It's refreshing to have a show like that.

Audio quality is really really good. Are you guys using two mikes?

I liked the laughs. You can tell you guys are having fun.

I would just try to add a little music or sound effects here and there to try to create segments, but other than that you now have a listener from Mexico City.

Looking forward for your next episode.

Awesome! I'm so glad you liked it Chief. Yep we use two mics. We're lucky in that Angela's husband is both a computer tech and a musician (he already had the nice equipment). He actually wrote all our theme music. Thanks so much for your suggestion btw. Our last podcast was full of music in the background. Did you catch the renfest ep?

Any idea when we might get your next episode..also are you guys on Itunes yet?

Jen

Thanks for asking Kenny...

Well we've been unable to get together because of Angela's crazy rehearsals. Instead of directing, this time she's playing a main character in "The Best Little Whore House In Texas".  So we've had to go on a break while she balances her  9-5 (and sometimes a lot more) P.R. job with her theater work.

As of this evening, we are still planning to finish our latest podcast tomorrow night. Its a philosophical/academic Star Wars A New Hope episode. We hope to have that ready, along with our finished web site ASAP. I can't give an estimate because every time I do something goes wrong. I think the fates are conspiring against us.

We're not up on iTunes yet because of the hiatus but we will be as soon as we can. Rico has graciously offered to help Angela with the Feed Generator he suggested we purchase. So hopefully that will be done sometime this month.
