"Longmire" - new series

Just watched the first episode of this series and enjoyed it very much.  It has a cool vibe, beautiful scenery (and I just don't mean Katee), and an interesting main character.  I love westerns and this will fit the modern western bill quite nicely.  Definitely added to my TIVO season pass list.

Yes, we really liked it as well. Very familiar for us as we live in the west and next door to Indian land. Love the vibe and scenery and the actors were top notch.

Yeah.  It was interesting to see how much the Native Americans on "the res" didn't get along with the local whites and even had their own lawmen.  Never knew that was true until I saw this show.

Oh yeah. I have had a run in with the Indian police when I rolled through a stop sign on the reservation...on my bike! He pulled me over and we had words.

Yes, good show. I'm really liking the idea of modern Westerns...whatever they can do to keep the genre going. And it's so, so nice to see Katee Sackhoff on TV. The main character is a perfect western sheriff.

New episode tonight!  I think I'm going to enjoy this one even more than last week (for some reason).

This show is really growing on me.  I like the way Longmire investigates a crime.  Second episode was another good one too.  Solid series.
