"Longmire" - new series

I've been really getting a kick out of this series. Stories are interesting and I liked the characters quite a bit. In fact, I think I'd enjoy this series even if Katee wasn't in it - but that certainly doesn't hurt the appeal for me! :)

EXCLUSIVE: Four weeks into its freshman run, I've learned that A&E's new drama series Longmire has been renewed for a second season. The Western-flavored series starring Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff premiered with 4.1 million total viewers to become the A&E's most-watched scripted series debut of all time and the highest-rated new cable scripted drama of 2012 among total viewers and adults 25-54 (1.4 million viewers). Over the first four airings, Longmire has averaged 3.9 million total viewers and 5.3 million viewers with Live +7 data for the first 2 weeks.

I'm so behind on this. I loved the first and have the next few hanging out on my DVR. Need to catch up this weekend. Glad it got renewed.

Well, I finally got caught up and watched the season finale. Wow. Great show. Love Walt, what a cool character. And oh, Katee. I would watch her read the paper for an hour. She kicks ass. Really interested to see how they resolve the finale. Wish it was more than 10 episodes, but heck, there was quality in place of quantity.

LOL - I haven't watched the season finale yet. But yeah, it's a great show. First seasons these days on cable TV can be short since they don't know how the series will do in the ratings but this show has done very well. And don't forget it will be back next season!

P.S. And where can I see this show of Katee reading the paper for an hour? :)

Season two of this great series just started up again a couple days ago. This is really a cool show and the first episode of season two was fantastic. Even if Katee wasn't in this series it would be worth watching. But she certainly adds to my enjoyment of the show. :wub

This is going to be one dark season! Katee looked great of course. This show is filmed SO well, I guess the scenery doesn't hurt any.

Any word on if its getting a 3rd season? It's one of my favorite shows on right now.
