Just finished tonight's episode "Stage Fright." It began a little weak, but it had a few good twists here and there and I enjoyed it overall.
Dude, the Russian guy is an active! How did I not expect that to happen? :P

I knew that from the promo photos, I was surprised when I saw him in the first few episodes

I was silly and checked Wikipedia where it said he was "formerly" cast as Victor in the Echo pilot. I probably should have just relied on my spoilers from Whedonesque. Of course, that would make the show less fun.
It's getting better each week and more interesting.  But what was this about....
What was with Echo shaking her head at the other active girl (Sierra?) near the end?  Are they all kind of remembering things?
I was really interest by that as well,
It's almost like they both are more aware of what's really going on after they get wiped. And kinda like they're planning something.

It was amazing how one little scene, the shaking of the head at the end added so much to the story. I agree that it has to mean they are remembering something on some kind of level.
I am enjoying this show very much, I think each episode is getting stronger.

What are people thinking about "Dollhouse" currently.  I just watched last night's episode, so I'm caught up.  Some interesting twists and things coming out.  I'm still kind of mixed on this series.  The characters are just not grabbing me as much as other Joss shows.  The storyline is interesting, but I worry about it over the long haul.

Yeah I feel the same Rico.. but this last episode definitely took the series to another level.. it's leading up to something big.

I am wondering what will come of it.  So far, it's good, but kind of quirky.  I like the idea, but am wondering if it is going to get going better.  I haven't watched this week's episode, so I better do that!

I have been and always will be, your friend.

I think one of my big issues is what they are doing (the people running the Dollhouses) is basically wrong.  I can see no justification for it - even if the 'dolls' do "volunteer."  So, that leaves you with a fundamental problem for the show - at least in my opinion.  They seem to be above the law and will kill fairly easily when it's needed.  Of course, there is the hope they will get found out, but wouldn't that end the series?  Anyway, I'll keep watching but again I'm worried about the future of the series.

I have a feeling Helo (sorry can't remember his name in the show) will find the Dollhouse sooner rather then later. That will likely change things. Also they keep talking about Alpha and I have the feeling he's the guy feeding Helo information.

Honestly I don't think this is the greatest show to ever be on TV but I do enjoy each episode for what it is. The one thing that really gets me is it definitely seems to be missing Joss Whedon's signature witty dialogue. I wish we could see a bit more of that.

The only one that seems very "Joss-like" is Topher - the genius who programs the Dolls.  He has some good lines at times.  Reminds me of the geek speak a bit from Buffy.  I don't think it's Alpha helping Detective Ballard.  In the latest show they said they had someone inside the Dollhouse.  That's how the message got to Echo.  Maybe it's one of the other Dolls?  But I think it might be Dr. Saunders (the Amy Acker character).

I think that they are going to reveal that the Dollhouse is part Manchurian Candidate and part Super Soldier Project. They use the Dolls to get extra money and are putting their dolls into positions of power to control everything. Cities, States, and nations are all falling to them and the things that the dolls do are just to add to the coffers of the company.

If you recall in one of the early episodes it showed a naked man sitting on the table watching the video of Carolyn (Echo), and putting that picture in an envelope and sending to the detective. So I agree with Billybob I think Alpha is helping the detective. But in the latest episode we find out someone on the inside is also helping and I agree with Rico I think it's the Doctor but then again that might be too obvious. Maybe it's Topher's assistant.. guess will have to wait and see.

Really enjoyed the latest episode and I agree with the comments here that the show will quickly move away from the 'situation of the week' formula, well it already has, and get into the conspiracy aspect which I find much more interesting.

One thing:
I never guessed the neighbor was a sleeper active! Loved that!

I know.. I felt so bad as she was being attacked and of course Joss has to do it in slow motion with the haunting music.. I knew she was going to be raped and dead when the detective got back.. then the phone call and WHAM!!!! it was AWESOME
I saw that coming, it didn't surprise me much, but I still enjoyed it. It's always nice when your suspicions come up true.

I really liked this episode and I'm loving this series so far.
