Oh Kenny it was just amazing. Everyone acted their socks off, really really good. For me it was Bernard Cribbins (he was also in one of teh alek films in the 60's) who stole the show, his warmth in his eyes says it all.

Series 5 rumour. An article from British tabloid The Sun Newspaper.

BEEB bosses are more hopeful than ever that David Tennant WILL stay on as Doctor Who — after wooing him with a £1.5million deal.

They had feared the Scot, 37, was sure to quit after filming four more specials of the BBC1 sci-fi hit.

But last night a source said he could stay as the Timelord for the fifth series to be screened in 2010.

As TV Biz revealed, show boss Russell T Davies quit and has been replaced by top writer Steven Moffatt.

The source said: "It will be a new team and David has to meet everyone to make a final decision.

"But we're gearing up to offer him a massive deal. He's interested. Everyone thought he was going, but it's not as open and shut as that."

Filming would not start until autumn 2009, but bosses are believed to want a deal by this autumn.

The actor is making four specials this year instead of a series as he is also playing Hamlet at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The Christmas episode is now finished.

David's real-life love Georgia Moffett, 23, returns as his daughter Jenny for one of the Who specials.

It's not the first time Carlyle's been tipped for this job IIRC.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I'd rather have him than James Nesbit. PS new season 5 thread is already up.

Well I'm kinda pissed at the Scifi channel. After the latest episode they showed a trailer for the finale. It showed the Doctor. They spoiled their own show. Granted I saw the show when it aired in the UK so it didn't spoil me, but it pisses me off because they basically spoiled it for next week showing the doc in it.

Janeway Rules!

G'day from downunder.
Spoiler alert just in case I say something about Series 4 that has not been seen yet by somebody.
I watched episode 13 a few weeks ago and all I can say to quote Neelix 'WOW........WOW'!  Have been a Dr Who fan since the age of 5 so I have watched some really good episodes and some really bad episodes.  I throughly enjoyed Season 4.  I loved being re introduced to villians I grew up with.  However I was a bit disappointed how the Sontarans looked.  Wasn't that keen on the purple outfits.  Catherine Tate surprised me.  I did like her character.  She rates second on my list of current companions with Martha first and Billie way behind just in front of Jackie (If you can call Jackie a companion).  Season 4 introduced me to every females wish 'I want an adipose!!!'
Hope everyone else is enjoying the season as much as I did.

G'Day there janeway Rules welcome to the forums. So you are a Martha fan, good on yer for me she has been the best companion out of the new series. Series 4 (or series 30 depends which way you look at it) has been the best series of the new lot. Tate did well in the end though i have always had a downer on her simply because i cannot stand her comedy show. The series had some great episodes and some awfull ones. Partners in Crime for me was just terrible and i hated the little fatty things. Best episode well the finale (although there was faults i really don't think we needed K9 even though its always good to see the mutt) was amazing and Midnight had tension all the way through it. If you are a classic Dr Who fan there is a thread in teh forums devoted to that. Enjoy all the sci fi stuff here you'll have a good laugh.

Greetings Janeway Rules!  I also loved Season 4.  I really didn't care for Donna Noble.  She was quite annoying to me.  I love me some Martha Jones.  The highlight of the Season 4 for me was seeing Davros and The Sontarans.  It's always good to see classic villians brought back into the new series.  If only The Master had a moustache and goatee.  Is that too much to ask for?
