Wow...just wow...Another excellent episode. These people certainly know how to tell an exciting story and keep the tension going. The multiple story lines were neatly intertwines - and we finally get some wrap up to several minor arcs.

So Nathan is a good guy after all, and he's been working with the FBI this whole time to bring down Linderman. Nice.. didn't see that coming but in the end, though, Nathan couldn't shoot - whether it was because he's too decent a person or too tempted by Linderman's offer.

It was great to finally meet Linderman... I knew he had to be part of the bigger story. I think he is part of the "Company" along with Mr. Thomas and Hiro's father. I love that all these people are connected.

I really liked Jessica/Niki storyline... I was glad that Niki is able to take back control. Let's hope she stays in control
for awhile. I think DL knew what was going on, and will probably show up in the hotel.

The Haitian, of course, is working for Mama Petrelli, I totally didn't see that coming... which means that she knows about 'the heroes', and possibly links her to the "the Company" in some way. But the good thing is that Mama Petrelli has been trying to protect Claire. Maybe she's not all bad.

Wow.. a shapeshifter.. she is instantly unlikeable. She seems to delight in hurting others. What do you think...is her power true shapeshifting or just illusion?

I'm loving Claire's adoptive mom more and more.. the actress is just great. And the second time when HRG came home and was talking to his wife I knew it was the shapeshifter.. I wonder what is going to happen to him and his wife.

I knew Mohinder wasn't as stupid as they made him in the last episode.. he knew about Sylar.. Quinto did a rather good job with the whole psychopathic ranting, moving from creepy to downright frightening with great ease.

Did Isaac paint his own death or the death of Peter? Based on the scene with Hiro jumping back into the future to the destroyed New York, I'd say we really are right back at the beginning of the show - Isaac's death is pending and New York is still pending a nuclear event.

And WOW what an ending... Mohinder pinned on the ceiling and Sylar cutting Peter's head off...You just know he's going to go ballistic now. I think we probably also know where he gets his scar now.

I can't believe we have to wait a month and half for the final group of episodes.. it's going to be a long six weeks.

Great episode again this week.  It's very cool how somewhat minor characters are now turning up in major parts (Nathan and Peters mom for one).  I'm loving how everything is interweaving together.  And Sylar and Peter at the end!  OMG!!!  Peter better put this guy down when the show returns......in 6 weeks!  NOOOO!!!  KHANNNN!!!!!

Picard_delta_5

wow... You think Mohinder is dead? Oh and Linderman was Dr. Sorin from Generations...

i really dont know what to say bout that episode... god, so much happened... I hope DL gets more involved in the whole "saving the world" thing... yeah, he def knows about jessica

Excellent catch Kenny with the "scar" thing...didn't even occur to me.

WOW...just WOW what an outstanding episode...but APRIL 23RD!?!?!?!....NOOOOOOOOO.

Kenny you seem to think that Linderman works for the company...I am not so sure....I am also not so sure about his "bad guy" status.....He is not a nice guy but I'm not sure he is the "bad guy" I had him pegged for being.  I think the Company is bad now with Bennet (Lord I hope he doesn;t die) being one of the few good things about it.

great to see Ando again.

Glad Niki got clocked by Nathan.....was hoping someone would do the same thing to the new girl.

I don't think she is a shapeshifter per se.  I think she has the power to alter the perception of a given area....almost a ....temporary, highly technical mass hypnosis thing if that makes any kind of sense.

I'll say it again.....
6 WEEKS........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I think it was Socrates who spoke the immortal words:  I drank WHAT?

ACK!  My DVR didn't record the last 30 seconds of the final episode, it ended with Peter coming in and seeing Suresh on the ceiling...I have to watch it again on the web to see the last 30 seconds, :(

After seventeen episodes of hints and build-up, viewers were finally treated to seeing the mysterious Mr. Linderman on the March 5 episode of “Heroes.”

Linderman was played by long-time genre actor Malcolm McDowell. Linderman shared a scene with Adrian Pasdar’s Nathan Petrelli, making a chicken pot pie and hinting that great things were in store for Nathan, should he follow the plan Linderman has for him.

The casting of McDowell was a coup for the show and one that almost didn’t happen, according to an article in “Entertainment Weekly.” When initially approached about the role, McDowell’s first inclination was to pass on the pivotal part. Before he passed on the role, McDowell asked his son, Charlie for advice.

”He said, ‘Are you kidding?! It’s “Heroes”! You gotta do it!”’

McDowell took the role and will be back for at least three more episodes when the series returns in April. As we reported last week on the Slice of SciFi web site, a scene from episode 19 with McDowell and Pasdar was previewed at the Paley festival. Series creator Tim Kring hopes to sign McDowell to more episodes next season.

Right now, McDowell is enjoying the role, hinting about Linderman’s role in the events unfolding in the hit serial-drama. McDowell said he’s looking forward to the season finale and hopes he gets to share screen time with popular character, Hiro.

”He’s just marvelous, isn’t he?” said McDowell. ”I can’t wait to ask him for my sword back. Personally.”
