The fan started to call him that and then the show picked up on it and have called him that several times.

I know the writers refer to him as HRG in online interviews.

Just watched "Company Man", a good episode.  It definitely answered a lot of questions and moved the plot forward.

I thought it was a nice touch to find out that Claire picked out the Horn Rimmed Glasses for HRG...

And did anyone notice that Simone was alive in the preview?  I wonder if the woman in the hospital room that was going to "clean up HRG's mess" is a shapeshifter or can assume another's identity becaues Simone is supposed to be dead.  Even the actress that plays Simone said in a recent interview that her character was in fact dead.  Hmmm......

And Sulu is part of the 'organization' -- no real shock there but it was cool to see young 'Hiro' there with him.

I guess we know why Claude is so secretive and bitter.  I guess I would be too if my 'partner' shot me 2-3 times!

This series gets better and better.. I like that they focus on only one story. The SFX were AWESOME!!!!!! I for one was shocked with Mr. Nakamura (Sulu) was revealed to be part of the organization, I didn't see that coming. And it was cool to see "little" Hiro. Claire is just awesome.. when she came walking about burnt from  head to toe.. oh man gave me chills.

Next week looks to be another great episode.

It was an awesome episode!  I'm telling you, these folks know how to build a story and build characters.  This is great comic book style writing on TV.  No one has ever come close to this type of comic book take on the small screen - in my view.  Loving this show more each week!

So Claire's dad is ______ (fill in the blank)... Is he still gonna work at the "Paper Company" What is he going to forget? That part confused me a little...

He said something along the lines of "erase anything that could lead them to her (her being Claire)..." But isn't "them" his company? Hmm?

Ok, I have a really good feeling about next week because Hiro is going to finally find the sword, ie: get his confidence back

HRG will continue to work with the organization.  That whole thing on the bridge was designed so that he would be treated without suspicion in the disapperance of Claire.  Obviously the organization might have someone who could read minds better than Matt so he told the Haitan to 'go deep' so that there would be no trace of their plan to hide/protect Claire.

I think this basically puts the suspicion fully upon the Haitan (who the Eric Roberts character already thinks has gone 'off the reservation').  So we hope they don't catch up with him....

It will be good to see Hiro's confidence back. He needs his 'Mojo'!

Actually I read that as "Go deep and take of Claire out".  IE make me forget EVERYthing about Claire. Who she is, what she looks like, what her favorite songs are.  Delete her from existance in his mind so there is NOTHING about her they can extract from him at all.

Hmmm....I'm not sure on that.  I thought he meant go deep underground so nobody can find you.  But I'm thinking you might be right now.  What a thing to sacrifice to protect your daughter.  To have to forget her completely to keep her safe.  WOW!
