They way Im understanding his power is that its like he puts up a shield of some kind but the inertia still pushes him back, just like when matt shot him and he went down only to get right back up.

I do like how they dont really explain how anything works, because it lets us guess and theorize like crazy

anyway thats how I am guessing his bullet stoping power works, but i could very well be wrong

So what did everyone think of last nights episode "Run" ??

I thought it was okay.. Heroes once in a while has these filler episodes that nothing really happens and this was one of those. Of course we find out a few things..

Nathan does have a heart, it looked liked he really struggled with the news about Claire.

Too many mind sweeps is bad for the brain.. I expect Claires mom to die soon.

Jessica is Linderman's new assasin.

Matt isn't such a "good" guy by stealing those diamonds

And Ando is a sucker for a crying girl...

Not much really happening, oh I really liked Zane the guy who could melt things.. to bad Sylar got to him first.

This episode really showed how everyone is going to wind up in New York in two weeks when the bomb goes off. Jessica/Niki will be there to assasinate Nathan. Hiro and Ando will be going back once they get the sword, Claire is going to go and find her father, DL and Micah will find out that Niki went so they will go to find her. That just leaves Matt but I'm sure he'll find a way to be there too. All in all just an okay episode.

I thought it was a great episode.  Amy and I enjoyed it.

yeah, I saw a few trek references in the episode... I thought it was a good episode (but only because of the Matt Parkman vs Jessica thing)... A lot of it was just annoying... ie, Hiro getting punched by the girl (COME ON, HE CAN STOP TIME!!! SO ANNOYING) and Mohinder... I just hate the way he's ALWAYS one step behind everybody... i like him as a character and i would really like to see him get more involved with all the Heroes...

so i was kinda disappointed that we never say Peter, or Issac or invisible man... but oh well, "all good things to those who wait..." (anybody know where thats from?)

Choice?  Sylar chooses when he gets a new power so he's "in the zone" when he starts to get powered up.  Peter just has a new power foisted on him so it's a "oh, uh. what the heck is this?" going on which probably translates to no control.

They have created quite a tough bad guy in Sylar.  It might be tough to off him believeably.

Another interesting episode.  I'm really wondering why they have made Hiro so ineffective in the last few episodes.  Maybe they realized that being able to move through space and time gave him pretty much limitless power and decided to pull back on it a bit.  The Matt/Jessica confrontation was interesting but Jessica/Nikki isn't really doing much for me.  It's kind of sad about Claire's step-mom.  I think she may be gone soon.  Next week's show looks cool.

While there were some interesting parts in Monday's episode,  I thought it wa the most disappointing episode of the series by far.  other than a few things here and there I really thought the ep was predictable and just kinda blah.

Hopefully next week will be more interesting, what with someone dying and all....and I really hope that it is Nikki that dies.  I just seem to have completely lost interest in her character.

NO!!! i never watch the preview for next week cause i like watching heroes fresh, so i didnt know anything about somebody dying... Oh well, the title of this thread is "Heroes (might contain slight spoilers)" lol... but usually whenever a show says that someone is gonna die, its usually a minor character... ive seen shows where they say someone is gonna die, and we meet in the beginning of the episode, and that same character that gets killed off in the end...

but again, i probably shouldnt be talking cause i didnt watch the preview for next week
