Well I am sure that Lindermann had his hooks into Nathan long before Nathan and Niki slept together.  He was mentioned in episodes prior to the Vegas one.

It is possible that he met Meredith before he was married to his current wife tho.

Okay... I must calm down so I can make coherent sentences. Another great episode. So many cool things. First I was sure Claire's adoptive mom was going to die... Sylar is way to creepy. I yelled out loud when HRG guy busted down the door and shot him. Loved Claire's Mom's comment after showing her daughter her power "some family". And Nathan is her Daddy.. it wasn't as big as a shock as I expected. I love that now we know that Nathan has to thank Peter for saving his daughter, Peter's niece. Can't wait for them to meet.

Linderman pulling strings again... now Jessica is out and in control... poor Niki.

Hiro's storyline was okay.. Did anyone notice Hiro's Dad's Limo license plate NCC-1701 NOW THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!

I enjoyed the Peter storyline.. doesn't need to be cold like Claude, Peter's powers are controlled through his Empathy

Can't wait for next week.

Oh nice Kenny!!!  Good post.  I just got done watching it myself.  Really cool about the license plate.  Awesome.  Thx for posting that!

Rico

Loved this episode - loved every part of it.  The Hiro part was important to his character I thought.  The license plate was cool (I want it!).  It's pretty obvious this is becoming a Peter vs. Sylar showdown.  Eccleston (Dr. Who) is a perfect addition to the show.  He is awesome!  Great stuff!

Heroes.... what can i say... wow.... I've watched every episode, I started watching them about 3 weeks ago and got through the first 11 episodes on the internet in 2.5-3 days...

I think Heroes has become my new favorite show on tv (currently being broadcast of course) .... Either Heroes or Boston Legal...

I'm actually a bit annoyed that u guys noticed the 1701... i was hoping to be the first one to point that out... lol  (oh and did anyone notice that Mohinder wasnt in the episode at all! there wasnt even a confusing voice over at the end...)

My take on Sylar: So what bugs me is that we know sylar can obviously take a beating... Matt Parkman pumped a whole round into him in one episode and he got away unscathed... and in Homecoming, he isnt too injured when he falls off the roof w/ peter... so why is he so obsessed with stealing claires healing powers?

Rico, u said that they are leading up to a Peter / Sylar showdown soon... I totally agree... So picture this: Sylar tries to throw something (has to be something really harmful, like a knife or something) at Peter using his force powers, and peter stops the object in the air! peter steals his force powers and throws it right back at him... (i know, i know, George Lucas did it already...)
but it would still be awesome... right?

and did anyone know George Takei could speak in Japanese? cool....

Yeah. George is fluent in Japanese.  He actually served as some kind of envoy from the US to start a museum there for WW II I think.

Holy Frak I did not catch the license plate....someone take my geek cred card away...I don't deserve it anymore...I feel shame  :'(

Anyway, I don't believe the Hiro/Sulu storyline is finished just yet.  I think there is more to Hiro's dad and we will learn more as the season goes on.

I too was not that shocked that Nathan was Claire's dad....Actually I was a bit disappointed...I thought maybe it was a little too trite and convenient.

I did LOVE the fact that Mr Bennet and Christopher Eccleston's character had crossed paths before...."It means an old friend is not as dead as we thought he was.".........frakin cool.

Cannot wait until next weeks episode.

You're assuming that Matt *hit* him with the bullets.  The thing about telekinesis is that if you see the bullet coming, it can't hit you.  Ditto for LD's fading power.  If he sees the bullet coming it goes right through him.

Sylar needs Claire to be sure that he can regenerate damage he can't see.

hmm, hadnt thought about it like that... wait, has a bullet ever passed through DL? i think that jessica tried to snipe him and the bullet faded through his head right? (i dont remember....) but didnt he also get shot in the side?

if i remember correctly and if he did get shot in the head, then ur theory has a hole... cause he didnt know that she was going to shoot him in the head...

almost, she shot him first in the arm, that one hit as he did not know it was coming, when the second shot was fired, he was expecting it and it passed through his head without harming him.

And sylers telekenisis power is so far his only defense we know of but it is a very powerful version able to protect him against physical harm very well, but as pointed out, can not help him if he is allready hurt or cant see it coming. Put clairs healing on top of his telekenisis, and you have something like magneto/wolverene

pretty scary

I would think that if Sylar got Claire's power he would be as close to invulnerable as one could get, short of maybe a surprise "Highlander" style decapitation.

Thoughts?

well, i suppose sylar could be killed in a big explosion... (radioactive man... maybe?)

but id much rather see them do a sylar vs peter showdown...

OH WAIT!!! in the last episode claire's dad shot sylar in the chest a bunch of times... he flew backwards... he WASNT expecting those shots, but regardless he managed to escape somehow... how is that possible? i thought that he either gets shot with a bullet and gets hurt (same as DL) or deflects the bullet with his powers, but in this case he was shot, fell backwards, and disappeared...
