It's some of the best superhero stuff in a LONG time. I include movies and TV in that statement.

That was great!  Just hope they don't over use the trick arrow stuff.

I for one would love to see more trick arrows. I just hope they don't use trick arrows just to use them. I would like them to make sense to use in the situation. That said, even though it's silly, I would LOVE to see the boxing glove arrow. Even if it's sitting on a table and never used.

The wife and I both enjoy this show. I'll catch last nights show pretty quick. We like to watch it on Hulu in HD so we wait a day. Really enjoyed the episode with the Bronze Tiger even though I wasn't sure who that was until I looked it up on IMDB.

I might be alone in this, but I'm finding myself very wary of the direction the second season is taking.

One of the things that won me over to the show was the choice to take Oliver's attitude towards his list of enemies to the logical extreme given the setup story, rather than filter it through the conventional, rather rigid, superhero morality.
Oliver wasn't using the list as a hit list as he gave each person a chance to do the right thing, but some of them died by his bow. It's not the same as the comics, but it bought the character a lot of credibility.

The second season emphasis on Oliver deciding to swear off lethal tactics at any cost because Tommy Merlyn died with unsolved issues is.. thin at best to me. While I liked the storyline at the end of season one, I didn't think Tommy was a very good friend by the end of it.

I'm going to keep watching, but the second season credits trying to sell the "honoring the memory of my friend" thing every episode has not been encouraging.

I think it's a natural progression of being a hero, plus being a weekly TV show. How long can somebody be a hero if they are just straight-up murdering people on a list? I like this direction, it makes sense to me.

I agree. More hero, less vigilante. And more trick arrows, please!

I've been enjoying season two alot more than season one so far.  It seems darker, less silly, and the flashback less frequent and seemingly more relevant.  Seems like big improvements on all fronts.  One question I had is how Oliver could work so closely with Laurel's father on the most recent episode and not have his identity compromised?  All the guy had to do on several occasions was look over his shoulder for a full face reveal.

I think this show has progressed nicely from the start of season one.  They have a nice set of characters and the episodes have a good amount of variety too.  As far as hero vs. killer vigilante I think that will be an ongoing issue for Oliver.  I can see him still killing in the future, when there are not other options.  But it just won't be as quick and easy as it was in the early days of the show.

Last week's episode was amazing.  So many things going on now with this great show.  Preview for tonight's episode:

Yes, last week's episode was great with the
(Black) Canary
reveal...should be interesting to see how it affects the characters. I'm glad there's a couple of good female characters on the show because the Laurel character is getting to be a bit much.

Wouldn't it be cool to see Ollie take a trip to Bludhaven...or Gotham??

The mask will be a good thing. I got to catch up on one episode and I would say this is probably my second favorite show I'm currently watching being beat out by The Big Bang Theory.
