Wow, great stuff!  Must have been a blast to play on that bridge.

It was.  I wish I had better pictures or video of it.  What you see above was before my "bridge refit" which made the screen much better and had a Klingon ship appear that you could fire weapons at.  I changed the center console too and made it much more accuratre then too.  I've been trying to locate this old video clip I had of it in action but haven't been able to find it yet.

When I was ~8 or 9 I had a friend who got me into TOS.  We used to pretend to be part of an away team - but we never went to the lengths you guys did.  Wish we had!

Love these pictures. I hope my daughter wants to make stuff and play in it, she is a bit like that but i worry that with all the modern tech that kids prefer to play with gaming systems rather than make stuff. Fingers crossed she wants to make a tardis lol

Amazing you could put that together.  Was that filmed on Super 8MM?

B&W VHS camera of the era.  Not many people had those types of cameras.  It was built out of wood mainly, covered in contact paper and painted with latex paint.  Using the same methods I used for my Spock station.

Just had to bump this thread up again.  Makes me smile!  :)

What was the line you guys couldn't get past again?  Something about a brain disorder?

Congratulations Rico, you just earned another 100 geek credits for early home vid-tech and that funky discotrek audio track.

Thanks for sharing - that's totally awesome!
