So, I've been dubbing some old video on to DVD and found this little set of treasures on a tape.  First shot is myself, my brother Joe (red shirt) and my friend Alan (gold shirt) in our old U.S.S. Aurora uniforms at a con way back in the day.  The next shot is of a bridge console I built in my basement growing up.  I eventually made it much better, with a better viewscreen.  The last shot is of my brother in the Mugato costume we made.  Boy, these shots bring back some fond memories.  Enjoy!

Ha Ha... Good stuff. I like the bridge!
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Those are just great!

I love them!  Cool bridge.  Are those stereo speakers I see on the wall?

I have been and always will be, your friend.

That's the red alert box.

Nice!  You got the shape on the console just like the one on the Enterprise!  VERY COOL!

Thanks!  I don't have much photo-wise from that era but I'll try and find more.

Great pics Rico. I'm so jealous of your childhood. The best I got was like a playmates enterprise and a couple action figures.

You had the bridge! :D ;)

Rico

Back then to get the cool stuff (bridge pieces, costumes, props, etc.) you had to build it and make it all yourself.  But I learned a lot in the process about carpentry, electrical, and so forth.

Great stuff Rico... you truly are a Star Trek Geek.. not that I ever doubted you. :)

Just had to bump this thread up again.  Makes me smile!  :)

Wow, great stuff!  Must have been a blast to play on that bridge.
