Thanks for the Comments all, this was a fun Podcast to do. It was also fun to find out some trivia about the ships as well. Some I had known, other I had found out well doing research

I can not believe I missed the opportunity to contribute to this podcast, I am all about the ships!

Rick and I are planning 2 more podcasts at least, one for other Federation Ships, and another for Alien Ships, so would love your contributions to them. Maybe we can convince you to co host with us :)

I am so there!

Did anyone ever see the mock up drawings of the NX-01 with added Secondary hull? I'm pretty sure they're on here somewhere.

I never did get to the bottom of whether that was a definite plan for the later seasons of Enterprise or just a piece of fan art, but it was a concept that I'd love to have seen realised on screen.

I'm one of the odd ones who never really liked the D - too soft a ship in my opinion but I thought that was more than made up for by the design of the E. An absolutely beautiful creation and by far my favourite. Of course, I believe that we did see the J in Enterprise too but too fleetingly to make the podcast I think.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I loath the D, I think it's the Queen Mary of starships, bloated and disproportionate.

billybob476

I liked the D at the time but looking back at it now it's a bit too 80's looking for me.

The refit is probably my favourite overall. It felt like a very good refinement of the 60's TOS design. After that I really love the sleekness of the E, it's a sexy ship.

moyer777

The E looks like the Cardassian's uniform.  ;)

I have been and always will be, your friend.

This will always be the starship that I think of and love most when I hear the name, Enterprise.

It is tough to beat. I think it was the 10min beauty shot in ST-TMP that really made me fall in love with the refit.

As much as I like remastered Trek, I'm stuck on the original film image, scratches and all.

The 1701, like the B-52 is a real BUF (known in polite company as a 'Big Ugly Fellow'.)
Thanks Matt Jefferies :)

Me x 3 , I might have alluded to that in the podcast as well. For the failings of TMP, all the screen time for the Enterprise was great, I just never tire of it. The original will always hold a spot in my heart as well.

The two Dishes on the front of the ship make it look a bit odd to me and feel redundant.

Kirk (in 'The Naked Time' - while the ship is plunging to the planet in a death spiral)... "This vessel, I give she takes. She won't permit me my life, I've got to live hers. Now I know why it's called she.
Ok, maybe not one of his better scenes, but well put none the less. :)

This was a great episode. Lots of good info.

Even though my first trek love was TNG, my favorite Enterprise is definitely ncc1701A. It has a simple and clean beauty to it... it's just so damn elegant.

Looking forward to more ship podcasts from you guys. My fav all-around trek ship has always been the klingon BoP, hope that gets some love in your alien ships episode :)
