What a terrific, fun show! He almost filled a pretty good sized theater, including two balconies. The show was a solid 1 hour, 45min long as well and it never dragged. Shatner was charming, hysterical, poignant, emotional, self deprecating, and for seemingly very honest. He discusses is his life through fun and sometimes moving anecdotes in that way only the Shat can. He was very animated and even ended with a review of his "musical" career and a "song". People really enjoyed the show as did I. I think this is a great way to see him, based on some to the convention video I have seen of him he is much more connected tot he audience and material in this show.

The post show meet and greet was a brief opportunity to have him sign the show poster only and have a picture taken with him. When I had my turn, he looked at me and asked how I was and I have to admit, it was kind of magical to look at him taloking to me after all these years of watching him talk on the big and small screen. I told him how much I enjoyed the show as well his STAR TREK documentary "The Captains". He thanked me and I added a comment about Avery Brooks being so out there and he he looked at me and smiled and agreed. And that was it. Well worth a chance to meet one of my childhood hero's.

Here are some pics of the stage and the auditorium. I refrained from taking pics during the show, which was not allowed. I'll post my pic with him once I get it from the company that was there doing the photography.

Sounds awesome Bryan and sounds much better than some of the con appearances I've seen him do.

Wow - I just checked and he is going to be up at East Lansing in Michigan at MSU this Thursday night!  Very tempting!

That sounds like it was a well bought birthday present.  Can you post the pic of you and him?

Go! It's really a nice show. The meet and great is awesome if you have never met him or had him sign something but those tickets are $150, but it's pretty controlled and I doubt he would stop do do an audio recording.

Or you could see if you can use your media credentials to get a quick interview!
