Same here, it's nice, but nothing that hadn't leaked.

Right.  No NFC.  Still waiting on the new iPod NANO that was rumored..

The iTunes redesign is nice.

Love the look of the new NANO!  I loved the 5th gen, and disliked the 6th gen.  This new one looks great.

That was NOT even remotley expected today by us investment folks. October is more likely.

I think Apple have saved me some money today. Not compelled to go out and get an iPhone 5 at all.

I really want one of the new iPod NANO's.  I have been waiting for the revamp.  One of those will be coming to me as soon as they are available.

Well, someone is as Apple is planning for about 55 million units before the end of the year and could add .25-.5% to US GDP. Amazing. Real positive take away is seeing Apple getting back to the iPod line and making them relevant again.

Don't get me wrong they delivered what was expected but for me I was holding out for something a little extra. I need a new phone so I may take a look at what deals are about on the 4S at the end of the month.

I was actually quite impressed with the iPod upgrades, pricey but some nice features. I have to wonder what the heck the iPad Mini will be priced at if we ever see it. If they are charging this much for iPod touch then I don't think we are going to get the competitively priced device we thought we were.

Well, I never have thought the iPad mini would be price competitive relative to similar offerings from other manufacturers. Apple will always be a premium product.

The new iPod lineup is compelling enough. Maybe I'll look at getting one of those.  Overall, the iPhone 5 is unimpressive when stacked against Android's offerings. It barely matches them in most cases. Probably the best area is battery power, but I've heard that the 4S suffers from battery issues so I'm not holding my breath on these stats to be much better.

It was an iterative update for Apple.

Would also explain why Apple wants to sue Samsung off the market right now...
