New movie coming with Hugh Jackman set in a futuristic world of robot boxing. I think maybe whoever is behind this one played too much Rock'em Sock'em Robots growing up! ;)

I saw this preview before the Pirates movie. I think it looks really good. Something a little different out there to go see.

I was thinking the same thing. It's Rocky the robotic version. It looks interesting, maybe fun, but I'm just not feeling it. I'm a big fan of boxing movies, Rocky and The Fighter (which I watched recently) are two of my favorite movies, but with robots, really?! I'm just not getting all that excited about this, but I'll wait and see.

It's hard not to. For I don't know how many years, it was a marathon for Thanksgiving on the Cartoon Network. After seeing it 50+ times with the kids, I don't think I'll ever forget it. One of Vin's best roles.

That was a good movie. I'm not saying it won't be good I just mean the trailers aren't doing it for me.

I saw another trailer or maybe the same trailer at the theater and I don't know what clicked. Maybe it was just the big screen, but ok I'm interested now.

I'd certainly like to see the film, but something about the future doesn't work for me. Though boxing is hardly as popular anymore, especially compared to MMA I doubt it's over really gonna go away. I know people who do it and I've even thought of doing some amateur boxing myself. Though I do love watching robots fight. I honestly wish they still had Robot Wars and Robotica around. Loved those shows.

This movie releases tomorrow (10/7). It's getting some good word of mouth and some nice reviews. I'm going to try and catch it this weekend.
