I think he's talking about someone else
REALLY GREAT MOVIE; I enjoyed it!  :)

Instead of being a slave to the comics, the film managed to build on the continuity established in the other X Men films.  I'd call it a re-invention of the X-Men, but with some pretty faithful nods to the comic history. The retro-tech was actually pulled off pretty well.  In fact; the film did a pretty good job of inviting the viewers into the 60's without making it feel wired or alien.

I'd call it the most enjoyable X-Men film I've seen since the first film premiered back in the day.   ;D

I'm at an 11:20 show and pretty surprised at how few people are out at the movies. I guess its the economy, or maybe X men is more niche than i thought.  Superhero fatigue perhaps?  On the bright side I've got a great seat.

11:20pm?!  Past my bedtime....zzzz....zzzz.

Oh, X-Men made more money at the midnight shows than "Thor" did.  All the geeks went last night!  Have fun Joby!

Great movie!  That was a blast from start to end, loved it.  I was a little sorry not to see more from the Alex Summers character...
having no reaction on screen to his power being used to kill his friend seemed odd and almost like something that must have hit the cutting room floor
Don't bother waiting for the end of the credits...nothing there.

there is another Cameo apart from the one you put there Joby, very brief, very funny.

Yeah; that was sweet.  :) Totally caught me (and the rest of the audience) off guard, even though it totally fit in with the sequence.

After sleeping on it, I honestly think this is one of the best comic movies I've seen in a long time.  Like all of the good ones, it focuses on CHARACTERS, not the super-powers & effects.  I'd put it right up there with the first Spider-Man, the first Iron Man, and yes, even Dark Knight.  :)

Thanks for the tip Joby on the end of credits. And 11:20 would be to late for me as well. I was still up then but barely. And would somebody tell me why in the world did I want to hit the spoiler button on the cameo thing. WHY, WHY, WHY. I guess I couldn't help myself! I'm normally better than that. WHY, WHY, WHY!! Oh, well still can't wait till 12:45pm.!!!

We didn't spoil the cameo...it's too good to risk ruining it for anyone

Exactly.  :)

There were actually TWO cool spoilers; the bigger one, and a smaller one that I almost missed; the one during the scene where
Mystique is trying to get Magneto into bed...
I think it goes without saying that the actors playing Magneto, Charles, and Mystique freaking kicked butt, but what did you all think of Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw?  I thought he nailed it. :)  In fact, I felt his version of the character actually felt a LOT more menacing, or for lack of a better word, more evil than the way he's depicted in the comics.  It was a perfect choice to play the villain in the film, especially going up against heavy hitters like Magneto & Xavier.  :)

You guys didn't spoil it. But they were awesome cameos. You know I gave Thor a 10 and I'm going to give X-Men a 10+. This was a really good movie. Fast paced and well written story. Kevin Bacon did a awesome job.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
My brother met us at the theater and he was calling me a nerd for being at the comic store last night but who was he asking questions too??? That's right, ME!
