new TV spot for X-Men: First Class has turned up on YouTube. There's two versions of the TV spot in the video - one with dialogue and one without.

Opening in theaters on June 3, the Matthew Vaughn-directed film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner.

Is it just me or does this kind of feel like the bastard child of the marvel films? I think that it might be losing something by not being connection even briefly to the other Marvel franchise going on.

I don't read the X-Men comics so I'm looking foward to seeing some different characters in this movie. For example Emma Frost. I really don't know much about that character. And I did see where Marvel is doing that Marvel.1 thing and the Uncanny X-Men is out this month. Number 534.1, I wonder if that would be a good jumping on point??? And would my money manager (the wife) allow me more $$ for comics??
