This trailer actually make me concerned about the future of the franchise....

Concerned that they won't be able to top this season!

Meds

Reavers!

Both trailers are good.  The US version seems to emphasize the Doctor coming to the United States (of course).  This season looks bloody awesome!

I don't really care if they are coming to the US or not, I'm still gonna watch just the same, but that is pretty cool. I wish I would have known when they were filming I'm less than a days drive to Utah from here. I may have done a road trip just for the heck of it.

Thanks to some online DVD retailers they have put the summary our for series 6 part 1.
The Doctor returns, alongside newly weds Amy and Rory, to face monsters and mysteries and adventures all across time and space, in a thrilling new series of Doctor Who.

Together they'll find themselves in sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren. In a bubble universe at the very edge of reality, the Doctor will meet an old friend with a new face, and in a monastery on a remote island in the near future, an industrial accident will take on a terrible human shape. And waiting for them, at the end of all this, is the battle of Demon's Run, and the Doctor's darkest hour. Can even the truth about River Song save the Time Lord's soul?

Only two things are certain. Silence will fall. And a good man is going to die...

I am most interested in this line
the Doctor will meet an old friend with a new face
I have some ideas who that could be and considering how it is wrote it could well be a
time lord Romana.
So is that
more revisionist re-writigs of the RTD era and the time war?
I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Meds

No I don't think so, one because
she was on a totally different planet during the time war, plus she turns up in Big Finish in the future. I don't think Moff is one for messing with Classic Who. It's rumored that the cybermen will revert back to the ones from Mondas.
Well that last news will be a blessing at least. That's been the one bit of the new setup that's always grated with me.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
