Nice little article with a photo of some NASA types (really?) visiting the set of Big Bang Theory and leaving several gifts then featured in episodes.  Rico, this one's for you!

Neat article on seven new weapon systems with sci-fi tie-ins (constantly referring to Star Wars and other sci-fi movies).  Check it out.  Just hope you are not on the receiving end.  Some are amazing.

Happy Holidays!

Hard to believe, seven years already for the twins.  Designed for 90 days and 0.6 miles of travel (underachievers at the beginning) they have far outlasted their design lives.  The one still moving around has achieved, drum roll Rick, 4.8 miles!  Congratulations NASA and the design team for this great human endeavor.

Who's to say that the Geek won't inherit the earth?!  Did I hear that on Sunday somewhere?  Anyway, iStockphoto is a place for professional photos for sale (mostly to big companies who know it's cheaper to buy than create).  This photo page has lots of cool geek looking people.

Interesting article on MSNBC about a Russian sponsored mission to Mars, to observe humans cooped up for a long time.  Loved what went wrong on the first attempt.

But it won't be for humans yet.  More like for robots and scientific gear.  You can read about it here
