Holy crap! I step away for a bit and look what happened!! You guys crack me up! Anyway....
After MUCH cursing and frustration (with the new GarageBand), Minnie MouseCast 5 is FINALLY up in iTunes! Yeah! In this episode, Joyce and I discuss one of our favorite podcasts being nominated for a Peoples Choice Award in Podcasting -- Knights Of The Guild! We urge ALL Tales listeners to rush out and vote for Kenny and Jenny! Awesome show.

We also chat about our upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort, and are big news, we're upgrading our website to a REAL host - DreamHost! Time to get some more functionality and "stuff"! We also play a recent Skype "Chaterview" we had with a couple of great guys from the web blog Days In The Park. A special episode of Tales From The Mouse House is up. Why special you ask? Great question!! It's shorter! :) Joyce and I've finally decided to upgrade our web hosting to a real web host (DreamHost.com - thanks SOOOO much Rico). So, while I'm building the new look and migrating the iTunes feed, we thought we'd treat you to a couple of the Disneyland Resort songs I talk so much about. Well...after much frustration (which actually led to many learning opportunities!), our new website is FUNCTIONAL! All the Tales From The Mouse House Podcast episodes now live on the new site, AND...you can listen to/view them right there! Unlike on Podbean (good site, just too limited storage), we have LOTS of storage so now we can upload our video podcasts as well, all for your podcast enjoyment! So..please, visit us at talescast.com and let us know what you think. Oh, and thanks to Rico for the great deal on DreamHost, and advice on how to get our iTunes feed forwarded. Well, crap. The new site/feed isn't working. No clue what I've done to muck everything up either. Trying to revert back to the old feed host, but no good. iTunes won't ping back to the old site.  Arrhhghgh!!!

Major problems...:( Seems that when I created the new website (talescast.com), and attempted to forward the old podcast feed (did the whole line of code in the old feed thing), I failed to include the actual feed from the new site (according to an Apples forum reply). So, not quite sure how to include a feed code for a new site, when the feed isn't actually there yet, but I'm no expert. From what the forum said, I have two choices, neither of which sound fun. The first is to trash the first feed thus removing the entire podcast, Tales From The Mouse House from iTunes, losing all our listeners, subscribers, feedback, etc. Then rebuilding a new podcast with a slightly different name (because Apple iTunes will get confused and reject it if I don't), then start from scratch. The second is to attempt to contact someone from iTunes support (hopefully not someone from India with a script that doesn't know how to even LISTEN to a podcast) and have them help me redirect the existing feed to the new website. Argh. I truly hope I haven't hosed this. Any ideas gang??? Al
