I just listen to ep 4 last night.  great podcast, look forward to part two of the episode.  having Amy moyer as your co host was great too.  I am always learing someting new about the series each time I listen.  I love your comments about how the ladies were dressed in the show, that was a whole different era back then.  I still remember the featherd hair that was popular too.
I do remember that Cassiopeia was a med tech, but I was not sure what she was before she became a medteck, the facilitator was a new one to me.  I think she may have trained to be a med tech before a facilitator, i think she chose facilitator because there is more money in it. lol.
I am going with the best information that I have.

Socialator, although I guess they could be called facilitators... ;)

Hi rick and Chris, I just listen to podcast 7 the lost warrior last night, great podcast as usually guys.  i still remember seeing this ep when it first aired.  the whole ep was reminisced of a western and the twins folk were like the Barbey coast I think.  I loved the kid who played pupace, what a name pupace right?  I wonder if he when on to do other movies or TV shows, I think his hair may have been dyed blonde, but not sure.  I always wondered where these planets of other humans came from, are they lost collies of man or what.  do they know of the Colon threat?  why doesn't the galiticla evacuate those people on those planets?  well I look forward to the next ep.  thanks guys.

Thanks so much Redshirt...  yeah, I often wonder... how come the cylons just don't go to each M class planet and wipe out any humans they find?

Found a source for these so I'm trying to watch in advance of the episodes if I can.

From your comment on the podcast, I think I disagree with you Rick. Redeye froze his eye just before firing but I always put that down to a malfunction following the crash. Normally, I think they point and shoot as much as anyone else.

It was only the frozen eye that gave Apollo a chance to beat him but (looking at it now) the whole quick-draw thing was ridiculous. If it had been me I'd have shot the Cylon as it came through the door. That would have guaranteed a victory.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

My take on this was always that these planets were effectively seeded by the flight of the lost thirteenth tribe as they headed out to Earth. The theory is somewhat weakened by the fact that Collonial Martin managed to crash on one of these planets that should have been well away from the colonies but I guess I can live with it.

As to why the Galactica never picked them up, I think that with the rag-tag fleet as crowded as it was, they simply wouldn't have had anywhere to put them. My question would be more along the lines of why the fleet never left anyone behind on these planets.
