I'm currently in the airport waiting for my flight out of San Diego, and thought I'd share some photos from my trip.  Any other boardies who went to comic con, please feel free to share yours as well!  :D


This first picture is of artist & designer Ashley Wood, holding a prototype 6-inch Boba Fett whipped up by his company 3A -


The figure is amazing!  Picture a sideshow premium format 12 inch figure, fully articulated and with actual cloth clothing, but standing just 6 inches tall!

Ash also had a prototype 6-inch Stormtrooper, with real cloth bodysuit under the armor:

Here's a pic of just a tiny part of the line to get into the convention center. Thousands of people lined up hours before the doors opened each day for the chance to get exclusives and attend celebrity panels & signings.



Once inside, there were mire lines; some to get to different events and others just to get to the main exhibit hall.  Here's part of the shorter exhibit hall line, minutes before the hall opened:

The convention wasn't all waiting in line.  I got to hang out with some great folks & see lots of cool sights.
