Well, just a quick bump. I actually did decide to get one of Richard Coyle's guns from his final release. He has discovered that the original prop had an ejectable ammo clip that was never seen being used on film. He is doing a final run of the above replica with the removable clip and one of these in the pic he just sent me is mine! :)

I will, this one really is the ultimate replica of that prop, no doubt. I wonder if I could have him even do an interview, that might be a cool Treks in Sci-Fi podcast. He has an amazing history in prop building.
