It's awesome and so much cheaper than some of the alternatives!

Played a couple of videos over it and they performed well. A little stuttery but the PC is an atom and I think the screen capture performance in very much dependent on the beefiness of the computer.

Going to try it on Mac OS X on my Core2Duo machine with 4Gb Ram to see how that performs.

Says that the computer should have at least a duo-core processor to run this program, still, its a lot smoother and cheaper than most of the alternatives on the store right now, I got the iPhone version just in case :)

Wow really? It's running really well from my Atom net box, the only the video stutters a little (not very noticeable) like there is an interlacing issue.

I'm even more impressed! :)

Its probably more of a recommendation than anything else :)

Runs just fine on mine, probably run superfast if I didn't have such a lackluster internet.

If you guys are talking about the Splashtop PC mirror app, it worked nicely for me last night.  It will depend on how good your wireless is and how good your PC is too - obviously.  For $3.00 to access my PC from anywhere in my house via my iPad it's an awesome bargain.

P.S.  Tim - MSUFan was joking.  My sons both like Apple stuff quite a bit.  Maybe even more than their dad.  ;)

=P  Oh I just had to have a bit of Fun because of X ;)

Yep we are, a great discovery Rico!

I can now have XBMC on my iPad without having to jailbreak it :)

Hey - here's a funny question.  Does the iPad still work wirelessly if plugged into your PC with the USB cable?  I mean, it doesn't then tap into the wire connection to access the internet then does it??

No, wire is for syncing and file transferring only.  Everything else is done wirelessly.

That's kind of what I thought.  Ok, next question.  Is there a built in file manager type of thing, or a good app for that?

Not really a built in file manager, files are handled in apps like GoodReader which is the most awesome one that I use daily.  You can also Open-In files like PDFs and such to other apps btw.   Dropbox (or other clouds) work too, but GoodReader is the most robust one I've found.

Rico I'll also reccomend you give both the AppSlappy podcast (http://frogpants.com/podcasts/appslappy/) and iPad Today (http://www.twit.tv/ipt) a listen. Great resources for fun iPad apps.

An Ipad sounds really cool but I'm still trying to get an ereader! I know you can do that on an Ipad but those are out of my price range right now.

Jen showed me a cool app today that records mp3s and sends them.  Very cool.  it's called TinyVox.  and it's free.  Works great.

I have been and always will be, your friend.
