Just saw this and it brought back a lot of memories. There were quite a few cameos including one fellow we all know and love? I think this was his first movie premiere - well cast for the part. Wink-wink, nudge, nudge.

I actually really enjoyed this film. We saw it Thanksgiving Day. Unfortunately there was only about 10 people in the showing we attended at 12:30 PM. The film has a lot of laughs with plenty of Muppet in jokes and their corny humor. It also has one thing that most films today are sadly lacking and that is "heart". I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

There are also quite a few references to previous Muppet films. Some obvious, and some not so. I even noticed that occasionally some lines of dialog that were the same. Of course, I'm a bit Muppet-obsessed...

My kids all loved it, my wife too. My wife said her favorite part was a familiar song near the end, where she said she actually almost shed a tear. I didn't go, had to work.

I DID shed a tear. Brought me back to being 5 and seeing the original in the theatre. I'm a pushover for nostalgia.
