Our New Podcast - Just Because...

Yep...another one! Joyce and I've decided that sometimes, we want to share stuff that doesn't fit into our Disneyland podcast Tales From The Mouse House, or our Amazing Race podcast FastForward. Episodes could include music from one of our favorite geeky musicians (hmm, who could that be?), stories I've written and read, or even just video of our pup Katie while she plays! Whatever! Why? Well, Just Because!! Oh, we will even offer an episode from time to time for folks who have something to share, but don't really want to go through the whole starting a podcast thing!!

Well, it's ALMOST here! We've submitted the podcast feed to iTunes, and they are now reviewing for approval! We shot this footage on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii (Turtle Bay Resort) during our 10 year wedding anniversary vacation. Hey gang, just wanted to update you all on the Just Because podcast...so, we've decided to do these monthly (at least for now). We've got three planning out right now that I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy: the first all audio episode will feature our Treks Forum's buddy Rick Peete. This will be an all techy episode with Rick giving us the complete low down (or...high up, err, whatever) on the iPad2! Rick's going to share with us all of those technical things that we've been dying to know, but didn't know who to ask! Can't wait!

The next will feature our awesome buddy Rick Moyer (hmm, a Rick/Rick double header??) and his awesome talents. Rick will discuss his background, his podcasting, his musical projects and well, everything RICK!!

Then, the 3rd episode we're working on will feature another great friend, Simon Meddings, or Meds, or HawkeyeMeds on the forums...his episode should be pretty fun as well. Meds is going to discuss the concept that you DON'T have to understand all things mechanical to be a car nut! Seems that our very own Meds is a car enthusiast and will share that in an upcoming episode...

So...if any of YOU have an idea for a Just Because episode, why not let me know?! And no Bryan...we can't do a video episode of you sitting on the beach without your shirt on! :)

Wicked!!!! He uses his iPad 2 for EVERYTHING.

I don't know who had more fun -- me or Al -- talking about the iPad and all its capabilities.  I did manage to avoid the word 'magical' though!  LOL

Al, thanks for inviting me to join you for the podcast.  My wife just finished listening to it a few minute ago and she thought it was very good.  That was high praise coming from her since she hears my rambling everyday.... hee hee
