No, I think the kids are heading to skitter ville. Remember when the doc was examining the kids implants and they are hardening, like a shell. I'm not convinced the tall aliens are the real deal, either though.

I just assumed that the Skitters are another previously harnessed (enslaved) race who have been altered by their spinal devices and that the human kids will be turning into something else. Something like the bipeds.

Maybe it's the harness themselves that are the aggressor in control of the whole invasion
I just found out:
I found a photo of what the aliens ACTUALLY look like. This will be revealed during the season finale this coming weekend:
So I have all the episodes I think there are seven or eight on my DVR. . just haven't had time to sit down and watch.. is it worth watching? Should I just wait for DVD of the entire season?

Sorry to say, it's still not grabbing me.  It may have something to do with the timeslot, or maybe just the show.  But I'm very easily distracted by other things when I try to watch it.  I have very little recollection of what happened in the last episode.  I'm going to try to hang on for a bit more.

Anyone know how many more episodes there are?  That may determine if I stick it out or not.

It's very much a character drama, which I'm usually fine with, but it's just not keeping my interest.

I have gone back and forth on it. Liked the first episode but then started to dislike it. It seemed very derivative and been there done that. However, the last few episodes have improved and the most recent was very solid, so i would say give it a go.

Next week is a double bill Season finale.

@Kenny. I'm quite liking it. It's nothing particularly original or anything that we haven't already seen before, but for me, it moves along at a nice steady pace and keeps me interested.

Not sure it would be worth buying the DVD boxset for it though. I'd watch what you've got before forking out any cash on it. If you dislike it with the first couple of episodes, I'd say you'll probably dislike all of it. For me though, it seems to have been consistant from episode to episode. No stand out "WTF that was awesome" episodes...or any "WTF. That was dreadful" either.  Overall,  I'm glad I've watched it.

I am a bit of a Noah Wyle fanboy though.

Dangelus

Watched a couple of episodes and they didn't grab me either. It's kind of a short season isn't it?

This actually might incentivise me to watching it all the way through actually.

I think this show has been a slow burn, and they cranked it up this week pretty well. Got more into the Captain's character and revealed some pretty unique stuff about the aliens. I'm pretty excited for the finale. I'm even starting to buy that Noah Wyle can kick butt.
