Shatners hair

OK, OK i know everyone has talked about Shatners hair, its a wig we all know that but because he remains tight lipped on the subject the internet is awash with speculation and fun facts. Its clear in TOS that he wears a toupee, in many scenes you can see a slight change of colour and even lining, its very good and i wonder why on Earth he felt then need to jump from light brown side parted hair in the 60's to bouffant black hair in the 70's.

So i thought i would create a thread (for fun) on the many debates on Shatners hair, do we think its a full wig, half wig or just a weave. I found a great web site that goes into huge detail on Shatners career in the 50's, they are very detailed on the films and TV shows he did and then at the end of the review talk about the hair.

Personally, I LOVED his TJ Hooker hair! :)

The funny thing is his natural hair was like Hookers but a very light version. In the 50's they would straighten curly hair but alas Shatners hair thinned quite badly at the back and then from the front. I've been looking at lots of photo's, its becoming an addiction.

At this point, it's a full wig. It could go on tour by itself and draw a crowd.

I spent around three hours last night reading teh blog, the facts and reviews of his early TV shows is brilliant and informative. And teh review of the toupe is brilliant. I'm addicted. LOL
