The Sorceror's Apprentice

I went to see Sorceror's last night with the family. I have to say I was somewhat disappointed in the movie.  The story was pretty basic, not very creative at all.  The acting wasn't 'bad' but it did not engage me (perhaps that is more the fault of the writing than the acting).  It was pretty predictable I thought.

Even the special effects were not striking.  More like 'been there, seen that'.  IMO, wait for it to come out on NetFlix.

Anyone else see it and have a different opinion?

I know Mark saw it.  I think he had a similar view and that it was just "ok."

Well they are based off a very popular book series.. my friends just rave about them..

I hope to see it in the theater..
