That looks great!  Is that a www.roddenberry.com kit or pre-built by them?  Always wanted one of those.

iceman

Its a kit with the electronic upgrades plus I have the lights on the side and screen light up

Bryancd

Sweet! Yeah, which kit is that? Rod.com, HMS?

iceman

Rod kit but I modified it to light the screen and also the three lights on the side.

Did you put it together or have someone else do it?  Looks very sharp.

Bryancd

Really does look sharp and great mod's you added.

No I did it myself, I Like doing stuff like this  as with my wooden tall ship models, it takes more time, but makes it more realistic as well. Besides it cost much less to do it yourself, and it isnt really that hard either.

That's great.  Love to see any pics you took while you did the work and tips you might have.  I do plan on tackling one of these - some day.  I really enjoyed building my www.roddenberry.com TOS tricorder several years back.  Great fun when you have the time.

There is nothing like improving on a original design and have it look more realistic

I built mine (HMS/Rodd.com) TOS rifle several months ago.   I also installed several options including a lit target screen that activates on the touch of the trigger, a red flashing "Target Lock" light that activates with the trigger depressed, and a green 532nM laser.

Enjoy!
