Looking closely at the top picture we can see The Silence, The arms coming out of the snow could be weeping angels, in the fire you can see a face that looks quite like Peter Calpaldi and the clock is at 12. Hmmmm

ok, i just watched the 50th anniversary special and i really liked it, the story was a bit odd fitting at times, for me. i love the doctor parts, the ones with the aliens was a bit odd to me.
now with that been said, i haven't been keeping up with the series. i know....how bad i am, lol  but i am a lil confused about one thing, in the special john hurt was transforming, who did he turn in to? and is the Christmas show  Matt Smith's last?  thanks for any help

Second watch through with the kids today...Eleven's speech really got me this time. It was very personal for Matt Smith I think, too.

The Christmas episode was good, but frankly I enjoyed the 50th Anniversary tale much more.  Hard to say goodbye to Matt Smith.  I found the Christmas episode very quiet and subdued compared to most Who episodes but still enjoyed it.  Looking forward to new stuff - next September!   :dalek  :tardis

I so do wish that BBC America was on basic cable! I am so far behind on this series! They do have 6 episodes of season 7 on Hulu and I have 3 more to watch. I don't know when they will put the others on. Is this recent Christmas special considered part of Season 7?
