I saw that over on the RPF and was going to post it here as well, too cool!

Wow! Very cool! I'd love to have one to play with in my bath!
"That unit is defective. Its thinking is chaotic. Absorbing it unsettled me."
"That 'unit' is a woman."
"A mass of conflicting impulses."

Wow! How big a bath have you got??

What surprises me is how well ot 'flies'. Someone must have done avery careful balancing job on it.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

M-5

Gonna' have to get myself one of those and a pool.

Blackride

We are going to need a bigger bath tub!
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Bromptonboy

Really cool - now how can I create the Tholian web in the neighbors pool...?

Looks like a lot of fun! The article accomanying the video says they built a Borg cube as well. Can't find any video footage of that though.

Pushing a cube through water like that must be interesting. I guess they don't get up that much speed but still, anything above a crawl must really have to have to have some power behind it unless they run it corner first.

Yes, that's why I was so interested in finding some video. This group has several models of the Enterprise as well as a Voyager model. Really some interesting mechanics involved. Interesting to me anyway.
